I think a lot of the “vocal minority” are those who had high hopes, saw the things the show did — and now, occasionally does — very well early on, and hoped that would continue.

I’ve been stealing food from their vending machines for years! I’ve even done so right while they were all watching me.
Holy cow! That’s you?! STAR Weddings?! Hey, I’ve been thinking about setting up a Boiler Room type situation there. You know. Making some coin. You seem like a trustworthy orange rock monster. You in?
I’ve been booking it as a wedding venue and making a sweet commission. No one’s ever said anything, either.
I like to go to STAR Labs and use the restroom and I don’t even work there! What’s weird is that nobody has tried to question me, let alone stop me. I got this sweet lava gun from this neat guy too!
No one is wearing a white hat, but there’s a huge difference between being flawed, and killing for fun.
it was Rick’s “brilliant” plan a couple of seasons ago of attacking the Comedian’s, uh, Negan’s satellite site and cold-bloodedly murder the people inside. IE: thus rightfully incur Negan’s wrath.
My main issue with the show is this anachronism of knowing pop culture from the 20th and 21st century, but not other things—as Gordon proved on the stand when he had no idea what the capital of the “old United States” was. That sort of thing drives me nuts. He doesn’t know that, but he knows the names of several…
Michaela has always been my favorite of the (formerly) Keating 5 so this episode was great for me.
Damn Jasmine’s story was heartbreaking. I love how the writers shut down that therapists assertion that she was projecting. I was actually pretty interested in the Keating Four story this week. Also that flashforward wow.
My affection for this show is kind of waning. I liked the first season a lot and have tried to feel the same this time around but something just isn’t there. The worldbuilding/lore isn’t compelling? The religious stuff doesn’t seem to actually be saying anything about religion? (not that it promised it would, but…
Holy shit. I think you found something worse than kinja. *slow clap*
Hey Kyle - can someone ungrey/approve the actual people commenting here. First, the fact that they have stuck with The Strain this long means you shouldn’t be torturing anyone any more than you need to. And second, a scale of grey is only thematic over in the GOT comments.
Point of Discussion: Which is worse, Zach…
We did it, everybody! We survived the Kinja Apocalypse! Oh yeah, and season one of THE MIST, ba-dum *tiiisshhhh*
That bit with Alex/Jay at the end was another fantastic example of TEN FEET FROM SAFETY - “Oh sure, one of us could dash over there and pull Jay free, but, no, we won’t. Let’s escape, everybody! Alex, say goodbye to your dead brother-boyfriend, ha ha!” vroooooooooooom
this show was so bad, it made me get a Kinja account just to complain about it
Is making reviews impossible to find some kind of new, added bonus feature?
Good thing there is no way Floyd will ever find out what his son said about him.
