Mountain Gorillas were thought to be a myth barely more than a century ago. We're finding new species daily in extreme conditions 99% of the rest of the world can't survive or eve long endure. Then we easily dismiss there may be another large hominid prowling the forests of America and the mountains of Asia. seems

I am with you. I am a skeptic and know that if Bigfoot were real there is absolutely no way that we would not have some sort of proof simply because of the number of people who actually look for him. However, this footage...if you take a look at the costumes in Planet of the Apes they do not even come close to the

And the one about Atheists never being able to resist telling everyone what they don't believe in...

The Patterson footage? No matter how skeptical I am, that footage not only looks as real as you could possibly get.....but has been analyzed, scrutinized, more than any other footage or photo of anything unknown. I do believe it's not a hoax.

I REALLY enjoyed that video. I know it's BS. But it was GREAT BS.

I loved that show.

I loved "In Search of..." when I was a kid. I couldn't separate Nemoy from Spock, and his calm (logical) voice made it all more believable.

Alien Autopsy made me long for the, uh, honesty of "In Search Of..."

Dan, I think that's "vale of tears" but I am sure many have the same reaction as you. It would be an amazing outcome only 50 years since Star Trek hit the TV screen.

I talk with my friends a bit about that sort of subject when some new tech news pops up. While I really want to see some sort of interstellar travel before I die, I also really want to see the first science fiction film actually filmed in space. It would just be so... weird compared to now.

I'm on my way to being an old man, and I can't think of anything I'd rather see before I depart this veil of tears than the development and realization of this kind of rapid interstellar travel.

My absolute most favorite episode. Had no pew pews and no alien fights, but it was one of the most memorable episode ever.

I hope something like this happens in my lifetime. The idea of even sending unmanned probes to the far reaches of the galaxy and having them come back with data in a reasonably short period of time would be so amazing! My only fear is what if someone uses this as a weapon; if you can send something through space at

Possibly, but some of them have evidence and hard data of unexplained phenomena. I'm not saying it's proof of ET, but they have things to tell that defies conventional knowledge. They're not stupid, they're not anonymous, they've got nothing to gain.
