    Hmm. As usual, a plausible explanation that tells everyone there’s “nothing to see here.” Made more plausible by the fact none of us knows for sure what it is. I appreciate science that isn’t afraid to get curious and think outside the box. Instead, there’s often a default setting to explain things away. Sad.

    What is your definition of a skeptic? Is it someone who disbelieves anything not accepted by mainstream science? That becomes a very limited universe. I accept the scientific method as a powerful means of inquiry, but skepticism sometimes to me seems more like a belief system.
