Knowing about an imminent crime and not reporting it, even as a fully mentally competent person, does not mean collusion in the legal sense, and doesn’t confer any jailable culpability. This is a pretty heartless statement. None of us really know what’s up with this woman, and I wouldn’t really give prosecutors the benefit of the doubt on doing the right thing.

Eh, it’s definitely not black and white either way. But to me, people with diagnosed learning disabilities, especially those diagnosed by agents of our public schools, can get the benefit of the doubt from me. Doub-specially if it’s a complicated crime like obstruction.
