I never thought about it before, but now that everyone has called Nanceford out for his patchy beard, I noticed that Derek’s is a little bit too. He definitely looks better this season.

Lawrence definitely doesn’t have BDE. Nanceford does have some, as does Andrew, Molly’s potential new boo. I don’t get it from Derek. Chris (Jidenna) had some as well. This is just a reminder at how many good men Molly has messed over on this show. SMH.

This episode was amazing! Kelli is the Goat, but Chad was a close second. That scene in the bar with Derek and Lawrence was hilarious! My favorite part was Derek after Chad & Lawrence went back and forth about Lawrence’s clam: “Check!”

Would you invite Chad to a baby shower? Can you imagine what his toxic a** would say? It would be hilarious but totally inappropriate. And his gift would be too.

While I think that Dro was problematic about not respecting Molly’s boundaries, Molly really handled that situation in the worst way. She KNEW she wasn’t down for a man-sharing situation and kept up with it anyway. She was cool with it until she was reminded that Dro has a wife.

I’m not sure we’d recover from an episode that focused on the DuBois household. I’m still waiting to see if that thread about why Derek was living in a hotel for 6 months will be picked up. Time with Derek and Tiffany behind closed doors just seems like it would be filled with boughetto sadness.

I barely drink, and have never taken any drug, so I’m used to being the DSW (Designated Slush Wrangler) in my crew, although I don’t have to do it anymore now that we’ve aged out of that kind of thing. But I don’t know...maybe this is how the young folk roll these days.

I think he’s sporting that connect the dots beard in this show because he’s not supposed to look so put together. When he was on HTGAWM and White Famous, he looked a lot more polished.

True. Viola is the queen of the snot bubble. But Kimberly Elise is able to emote on cue even when giving the emotional shakes, combined with snot. I have to give her her due for that.

I like what Insecure has done with Nathan, because we’re seeing the beginning, which we didn’t with either Daniel or Lawrence. In both cases, we were told that those relationships were long-established and there was lots of history. That day date in Ep. 4 was really great to me. That’s not something that everyone gets…

Well, believe it or not, he’s pretty great at accents. He was on the show White Famous, and I seriously believed he was British. I had to look him up to see that he is American. People are saying that his accent is terrible, but he’s actually from Houston. I guess I can appreciate some virtuosity.

I don’t understand people believing that Issa shot pickup scenes because they were mad. Umm, that’s not the way television works, especially for HBO. I guess it makes the LawrenceHive feel like they have some power, since they spent the first half of the season whining like toddlers that he wasn’t there. I’m glad that…

I figured that he would turn up at the baby shower. I wasn’t expecting to see him in this episode. I was happy to see Chad though....that negro is messy AF. He was standing there at 7-11, looking like he was at a tennis match. 

Best moment of the episode, hands down. I enjoyed Coco-chella, but seeing Thug Yoda again was EVERYTHING.
