At this funeral, Sandman (who was quite a large man) had the 3-step approach:
Step 1: Stand to the side when your time was up
Step 2: If you did not yield the mike, Sandman came over and gave you a brotherly pat on the shoulder.
Step 3: If you still didn’t understand that your time was up...hook.

I don’t know if you want to be eating McDonalds at that long-ass funeral. That sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

I went to a funeral where there was literally a Sandman Sims whose job was to gracefully give the long-winded speakers the hook.

I did too, until I saw an article about a duet that they did together. I had no idea.

And all those pastors doing prayers? You know at least 75% will attempt to preach a sermon.

This is a for real, for real business plan. Shoot, after funerals this long, folks are weak just walking out of the church. If you set up in the parking lot, you’ve got a captive audience.
