It’s pretty incredible that American society can imagine leaving the hospital after life saving surgery with little to nothing owed and say “fuck that.”

Really?! Never thought it was scary. Loved it as a kid still do.

Depp is just phoning it in. At least Cage commits to his skeevy weirdness.

They both look very Windsor. It’s a lot to overcome that genetic pool.

He looks like Angela Merkel’s slightly wilder sister.

I can’t get over how everyone speaking about this FYRE fiasco keep talking about people being “safe”. You can almost hear the hushed tones around the word. Give me a break. A day or two stuck on an island in the Bahamas with apparently no water or plumbing system admittedly sounds awful, but I really don’t think

Wouldn’t it be a shame if we reported an illegal immigrant who pretended to have a job to enter the country, but didn’t actually, married for a green card, then FINALLY got a largely ceremonial job, BUT refused to do it and cost taxpayers an inordinate amount of money because she refused to uphold the

“The three people killed on the bridge are men!”

Someone got new talking points in her email this morning.

This. I’ve flown on many airlines both international and domestic and hands down American airlines were the worst on both counts. There are some non-American airlines I would never fly again, but those are usually on a “food isn’t as good as __” level. “Staff is actively hostile and treat you like sheep” are US

I say this liking Chris pratt a lot. Very much more as Andy over everything else. Love P&R.

All *American* airlines. I just flew back from Asia this week on ANA. It was noticeable and almost disconcerting how much more pleasant the interactions with the flight staff were. The default attitude of staff on US carriers seems to be that of cranky substitute teachers who are just waiting for a student to try

I agree, his reaction was definitely all about him and not helpful. I also love “sit down, Tony” as a new meme. But I wonder how much of his reaction was driven by watching what happened to Dr. Dao on United. Meaning, a lot of us read about (and felt) outrage over the passivity of the other passengers and probably

Me too. At first I thought it was a new way to describe “very,” like “hella” or “nuclear level”.

Succinctly demonstrating that you don’t actually give a shit about this issue beyond the page views. Nothing in that comment was worthy of a LOL.

I just keep thinking of the government bringing down Al Capone. Everyone knew he was a crook, but nothing could land him. They had to build a case and it took years.

Anything else I can do to help United as a passenger? Maybe break out my torque wrench and tighten those lugs on the fuselage before I board?

They could solve the logistics of moving employees by SAVING 4 or 6 seats on every flight in case they need them, then releasing to stand by passengers if not.

I like everything about you. Your name, your prof pic, your references to character stats, your key points. Everything. Keep on keepin’ on and good job.
