I think Amigara Fault was a short story appended to the end of Gyo. The difference with this story is that while Uzumaki, Gyo and Tomie are filled with body horror, Amigara Fault is almost pure cerebral horror. I felt it freaked me out on a deeper level, but your mileage may vary.
