Fun fact, many fursuiters have more tech on them than you will notice. From cooling systems in the head such as fans, to cooling vests.

They likely couldn’t change venues due to costs. Once you’re booked in, it takes a pandemic or an act of god (and sometimes not even that) to be able to cancel it. And if you can cancel it, you’ll still have to pay a large portion if not all of the fee of renting the venue. Especially if it’s under a year of notice.

Didn’t this issue occur years ago in a more limited fashion? Sadly I don’t recall the specific games, but I recall one where the publisher was going on about how they needed to sell a ludicious amount of copies to break even. Which of course didn’t occur. Feel like it was EA that did it, but it might have been another

Didn’t Yu Yu Hakusho have that game in one of the episodes? Plus other word games have shown up as well in other series like No Game No Life.

More of a surprise it didn’t happen sooner. It almost did end like... what, 10 years ago? But then they had a record turn out that managed to turn things around for e3.

Seamless? You mean the same “seamless” DRM that has been known to cause massive slowdowns among other issues? On a platform that isn’t that powerful? (though one I adore)

People don’t seem to remember that they were trying something similar before with 4e. They had a program in development that played a similar role, maybe not in 3d, but definitely in the VTT sense.

Sadly, atleast with games, that’s is becoming less and less to protect your owned games. And no this isn’t aimed at the recent Ubisoft stuff, but it was brought back up because of it.

You know what I would accept as an apology for that tweet? They announce, and follow through with, having 2026 and 2027 (or later if it would be a better time table) be the years of single players. No EA Multiplayer games released during those two years.

They wouldn’t run into these problems if they just wouldn’t include modern military hardware in the game. And instead restrict it to decom’d or decades old tech.

If NFTs were to abide by actual property laws, he could still go through with the show. Under the law, an stolen item sold to anther person does not make it the property of the person who bought the stolen item. And if the person came up with trying to claim ownership, well it would just result in that person having

With MTG packs, you can turn around and sell those cards you got in the booster packs for real world money. Something that no digital lootbox I’ve ever seen allows you to do.

Not the first time this has happened for them. If I recall there was a similar issue and change with parrots and cookies.

Probably would have in the past year or so if it weren’t for the people who decided it was important to say “fuck you” to hedgefunders who were betting against Gamestop’s stocks.

There is sadly not much they can really do with getting it updated to modern MMO standards. A large part of it is the engine it’s on is... weird.
