I called Harry Reid yesterday and they did seem to be paying attention to me, even though I wasn’t a constituent. But I was calling to say, loved the statement, more like that please. I might have gotten a different response if I was calling to complain.

Realistically, do you really think that when his own children are running his companies — the same children who are ALSO on his transition team — he’s going to have no insight into the financials? I just don’t believe that for a second.

If it’s any comfort, I think it’s unlikely that even a Republican Senate will confirm Chris Christie or Sarah Palin. And I wonder whether they are just appearing on these preliminary lists as a sop.

Even if Trump really wanted to ban gay marriage it would be hard to do — first he has to get the composition of the Supreme Court right, then someone with sufficient standing has to bring a case against it. And it's going to be hard to come up with standing — there's not a good way to show that gay marriage is causing

This is where I am — I’m not as excited as I was about Obama, but he can’t run again, and Hillary will be fine. She is smart and and experienced and I’m not worried that she’ll flip someone off during a NATO Conference or drop a nuclear bomb on Germany because she doesn’t like Angela Merkel’s hairstyle. This year,

Yep, usually early voting is dominated by the elderly and the military so it trends Republican. So these results are encouraging for Clinton (although by no means a sure things, of course).

I know the way the LA Times worded this is confusing, but the ballots are not counted until Election Day. These are NOT vote totals; they are turnout numbers.

The numbers you’re quoting aren’t votes — they’re based on turnout. So far 7,000 more Democrats than Republicans have turned out to vote. The votes haven’t been counted yet. If significant numbers of Independents and/or Republicans are voting for Clinton, the margin will be much higher than 7,000.

Hispanic voting is up 100% in Florida, 60% in North Carolina, and 25% in Colorado and Nevada.

He plays Rogelio on Jane the Virgin. And he is awesome.

The film festival sketch made me laugh quite a bit. And the debate was fine; they're in a tough spot with this election season because it's becoming harder and harder to laugh at it. Other than that, though, it mostly didn't work.

I think it’s been asked before in a town hall, though. In fact, I think it might have been asked of Bill Clinton in 1992.

Not only that, the rapist pled guilty — he wasn’t acquitted.

The memoirs that come out of this campaign are going to be fascinating. I can only imagine what it’s like to be working at Trump Central right now.

The questions for the town hall have to be applicable to both candidates and can’t specify either of them by name. As I learned to my chagrin when I was going to submit one.

I would only add that he also has an insatiable thirst for positive attention, and he will say and do anything to get a roar of approval from the crowd. This is what makes him so terrifying — it’s not that he’s evil, it’s that he will ultimately do evil things because the alt-right is cheering him on.

Rabbi Raquel remains my favorite. I was so afraid she wouldn't be in this season and I was so happy to see her.

I have more sympathy for him than I have for Sarah, that's for sure.

She could cut four or five ads from last night alone!
