The issue isn’t the rank and file Phoenix PD or MCSO officers, really. It their management (and the Phoenix PD union for that matter - and I am pro-union). Phoenix PD has it’s own issues. I would hope they would work with each other well, regardless of Arpaio asshattery.

Fun fact: 49.34% of Maricopa County voters who cast ballots in the 2012 sheriff’s election cast those votes for a candidate other than Joe Arpaio. Missed it by that much.

Yeah, but it’s a dry hate.

Believe me I’m no fan of the Phoenix Police Dept., but please update the headline so it reflects that Maricopa County has to pay and that it’s the Sheriff, not the PD, who caused this. Our county is HUGE and this guy has continues to screw it up for all of us. His constant re-elections are sickening.

“Phoenix Police to Pay Millions to Victim in Botched Rape Investigation”

I can’t with my state anymore.

This is just awful. Joe Arpaio has been a stain on Arizona (and as a native, let me tell you that can take some work ‘round these parts.)

On the upside, Rahier earned a promotion to AA.

Whichever Seahawk came up with the great idea of telling Marshawn its was a "Dress as your favorite member of the Wu Tang Clan" is a genius.

It would be a hell of a catch if you guys can secure it.
