The final boss of Quake is literally and Eldritch God, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

All I was saying was their level designs were more similar then other FPS’s. Deus Exs multiplayer level design was way different then either of those two, and comparably Quake and CS have some very similar priorities is level design.

Did I ever say they'd fit both games effectively? No. Stop putting words in my mouth in an attempt to validate yourself.

I'm just contesting the poorly thought out notion that those two level designs are as far from each other as possible. They simply aren't. Both map styles favor flat terrain with levels, clear lines of sight, blind turns, and other things that aren't universal to all FPS games.

Quake was Eldritch, not Satanic.

Counter strikes game mechanics are directly descendent from Quake, it runs on a modification of the Quake engine, and favors similar arena style maps, sans verticality.

Sorry; what kind of monster would wait six months to reply to a post?

Hmm... What could the Airforce use this for...

You seem pleasant.

You want a bad interface? Look at BE’s older, better brother.

Oh god the picture gave me hella flashbacks. Dammit OPS.

I miss my Sidewinder mouse.

I enjoy virtual walking simulators, but I refuse to call them games if they aren’t actually games.
Dear Esther? Beautiful story, not a game.
Heavy Rain? Game.
Gone Home? An innovative exploration using the same mechanics as video games, but it’s lack of a ‘fail’ state or even alternative possible outcomes means it’s
