Ahem. Matt F*cking Cameron. But between he and Dave... Temple of the Dog, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Foos, QotSA (in spurts), Them Crooked Vultures... and more side projects. And both good stand-up dudes.

Weird sarcasm, when one of the main characters in the game we’re discussing talks at length about her Judaism. Sarcasm harder.

The Sonic Youths and Jane’s Addictions and Nine Inch Nails and Nirvanas of the world might disagree with your broad take on the 90s, but certainly POP music and film were on another plane in that decade.

And he won the Oscar that Moulin Rouge was ineligible for in the above story, for Monsters, Inc. Justice?!!

The worst story about this, IMHO, was that “Come What May” from “Moulin Rouge” was ineligible for an Oscar because it was originally written for - and cut from - Baz Luhrmann’s previous movie, “Romeo + Juliet”. So the same director and musical team was not eligible to win an Oscar for their song because they had

It was a joke about how all the nerds were waiting for her to finally be legal. You cannot seriously pretend we didn’t all know one nerd who watched her a little too closely in the 90s. Those people get mocked in our society, and that’s what Kilborn did.

I was honestly shocked the wife wasn’t on the island. Bummer. But it wasn’t bad, it’s just a kid’s movie. And dumb. But still a kid’s movie. I liked all the big stars hamming it up.

You’re not the only one who noticed that omission.

Lucasfilm games (including DOTT, Sam & Max, Loom, etc), Portal, Borderlands, Saints Row 3, Parappa... lots of good comedy games. Kind of a bad article.

Because a bunch of super-old people watching screeners at home are not giving the thumbs up to a gory horror film with some very challenging moments. I quite liked Midsommar, but there are only 5 director nods, and two of them sre gone with Marty and Quentin.

Probably the best plan if you want to slide into Best Director is look at the calendar. If you see “Scorcese” and “Tarantino” on the list, maybe push your release date till next year. The Academy loves them, and they’re really good at their jobs, to boot.

I dunno, I couldn’t make out half the dialogue early on with all the over-talking they did in the movie. Maybe my theater was too quiet or loud, but I found myself wishing I had subtitles.

LMAO. Sure. Roll with that. Let’s keep taking Tarantino for granted and see where that gets us.

Meanwhile, Joker is actually a good movie, and this fantasy that you have that it’s shitty is ill-informed. I think the masses kind of hate Uncut Gems, and it feels like an interesting movie but not a particularly good one. I watched it but definitely didn’t enjoy it. And Little Women got nominated for Best Picture,

Leo deserved it. If he had more screen time, it would have felt more natural, but like Travolta and Jackson in Pulp Fiction... and Waltz and Pitt in Basterds, hard to break down who is really leading and supporting in a Tarantino movie. If Leo was nominated for Supporting he would have been a lock for a nomination.

Same. Might have been the loudest cheer I’ve heard in a movie theater, ever.

It is not a good movie. It looks great. It has a movie star. It is is a very bad movie.

Just as dumb as Entertainment Weekly reviewing Roger Waters’ “Amused to Death with an A- score, and then placing it on the “Worst of” list for 1991. We’re not idiots, we know you have more than WRITER, but you also have fugging EDITORS whose job it is to make your publication seem like it has something to say. Guess

That’s the point that shocked me. Nobody PLAYED this game.... it wasn’t widely available and came at the tail end of the Atari era. It was more of a conversation starter about the face that it was an “adult” game mostly by folks who had never seen or played it. There’s not an hour worth of discussion to be had from

I’m going to guess Tom has no opinion on what happens after he’s dead and buried. His family got paid, though, and they're probably happy about it.
