I had a coworker who’s sister was having some issues so she went to the doctor. After a few treatments and no progress on her issues, the doctor told her - I shit you not - to pray on it.

To both impose his personal beliefs and use them as a shield.

Just part of the problem. It’s capitalism and money at all costs.

Thanks to Republicans

“My personal beliefs mean that I can object to treating a patient.”

“childbearing age”

And the “protect the children” crowd are once again the crowd that the children actually need to be protected from.

To be fair, if Governor Meatball was the father of my kids, I'd be afraid for them all the time at long as I'm living.

Between this and the amount of money they’re bleeding due to being shitty negotiators with the now-striking guilds, it’s almost like David Zaslav is a very bad leader whose head should roll.

“We’ve gutted everything that fans liked about HBO, cancelled anticipated projects, cut costs, prematurely ended series, rebranded and focused on churning out garage content that costs nothing to maximize short term revenue [...]”

Elon Musk has entered the conversation and says hold my beer! Rebranding a worldwide known brand like Twitter and it's blue bird to X is really probably the worst such example of rebranding in history,

Or not removing a good chunk of shows from there. Mainly from the animation side of things.

Obviously this means it is time to bring back BatGirl!

Oh no, better remove a bunch of content and sell it to the lowest bidder for some quick cash. That’ll probably help.

So once again, blaming your audience rather than blaming what actually is the problem: Poor writing

He was never trying to make Twitter Blue cool. He was trying to punish the previous class of blue checks, specifically journalists and celebrities, by taking away what he perceived as their special status.

Given that he doesn’t seem to understand or care about the real purpose of verification, even when people

Knock em all you want but they’re very comfortable. I only wear mine in the house as house shoes, but I also WFH and they are good support for when I’m standing at my standing desk.

Disturbingly familiar?
