Oh, Charlie, Charlie, Chaz... How could you? Your review is SO unjust!

I don't think we will be finding incontrovertible proof of intelligent life anytime within the next 100 years. In my view, it will take that long just to get another planet up and running within THIS system. I don't see Mars as any more than a curiosity for the next 100 years - and the other planets, even less so. …
I nominate you for the next great internet meme.
You know, Absolution Gap had a pretty memorable torture scene for, in my view, it's most beloved character. Although, the torture could have been all the more memorable because of how it didn't ever tell you ANYTHING about the actual torture and only showed you the effect that it had on the people who witnessed…
Fun Fact - Captain Janeway herself was the romantic interest in that adorable little action movie.
Ohhhh... A film version of "A Modest Proposal"?
Helen, darling, I am not arguing with you that Firefly was an engaging, character driven, entertainment filled TELEVISION show. I really am not. Why did it get canceled? Studio meddling? Poor marketing? Sure. Because there are - simply put - MORE alternatives? Yeah... not so much. But, Serenity - the Movie - a…
I applaud your humor.
Yes, but do people love the characters because of the 119 minute film or the 14 episodes of the television show that was ripped away from them in an unjust and cruel manner?
Oh no, don't get me wrong. I am not saying that Serenity is better than ANY of the movies it beat - except Spiderman, I guess. What I am saying is that the REASON Serenity has gotten as far as it has is because (a) The Browncoat phenomenon (b) Extremely easy draw and (c) The movies it has bested were movies that are…
Here is what is so frustrating about how the brackets were set up. Serenity — which we all KNOW has a ravenous fan base — was ranked at 8th (!!??!!) and had to beat Spiderman (given), E.T. (almost given), BTTF (bit harder) and Terminator (sorta hard) to make it to the Final Four. Of COURSE it is where it is.
Back up, back up, back up — "thus removing the need to carry heavy tanks of air that might explode and turn into projectiles if hit."
All right - I see where you are going and I understand why. In fact, I will also grant that, after Dowling was made out to be the uber-baddie, he kinda disappeared, and that was rather disappointing.
I am not sure what you are referring to when you say he only got two of the revamps right.
:)
This is apocryphal, but I was told by someone who seemed very knowledgeable about this area, that the Soviets - once they discovered the scale of the disaster - created a rotation of 600,000 people who only worked for a very limited time in the contamination zone to limit exposure. Granted, this is after the first…
Agreed.
Yeah. Batman didn't go to Law School. His goal was always to FIGHT crime and I doubt he ever had the intention of doing that behind the prosecutor's bench.
Yeah - I, too, want to see more of the "World's Greatest Detective" part of Batman in the Nolan movies... Although, he did pull fingerprints off a shattered bullet.
