@mkirkland: This is the sound applause makes on the internet!

Hey... I liked it...

I want to know what gravity is, damnit!

As much as I can sit through an hour of Warehouse 13 and Eureka - they don't have me flipping my tivo on the moment I get home. SGU has potential. I am convinced it was on the slow burn. The story lines were heating up, aliens were being introduced, big baddies were being set up for conflict, conflict, conflict.

@cortexiphansession: I whole-heartedly approve of an io9 Cable Channel. Where do I sign up?

@jamieb0520: There were many things I loved about Pastwatch. His Flood / Atlantis combo was one. I also like his postulation of the civilizing influence Christianity had.

@doofusgumby: I disagree with his politics and found Empire to be one of the worst pieces of drivel I have ever picked up — and I picked up Twilight — but he does have some phenomenal gems in his collection.

I know he doesn't get a whole lot of love on this site - but good ol' Orson Scott Card had a whole thing about this in Pastwatch....

@corpore-metal: Curious - Is it an accepted fact that we are 3 Dimensional creatures and not 4th Dimensional creatures?

@riyadh: In Bahrain a doctor can't even look directly at a vagina. (He has to use a mirror). In Egypt, they get to attach electrodes.

@chucho87: Can I have a powerful vagina lobby?

@TnOdyssey001: Earth One was great. I just think the Superman looked a little too glossy, the Clark Kent was channeling a little too much Justin Bieber, and, well, if I were to get really critical — the costume doesn't so much painted on (like the Jim Lee Batman above) as much as it seems to be a liquid metal

@muchdrama: Alex Ross was a long time favorite of mine. And, you're right, he does capture that big, naturally strong guy appearance very very well. I also think he got the jaw more right than any other artist.

@Polymath: I tried to find a color version of this page - but I do really like Bermejo's Batman...

@Arsnof: I agree. It is sad that that is one of the iconic Batman images.

Am I the only one who is surprised this research came from Cairo University?

Lee Bermejo does FANTASTIC work making the sprayed-on spandex costumes look real.
