@MrGOH: Oh man - I would LOVE to be a Royalist. Perhaps I could become a Lord - like an Earl, or Viscount.

@RizzRustbolt: As a matter of principle, I prefer to be vaguely right rather than precisely wrong.

@Cheney Guevara: Well, I am not saying that the Establishment Clause does not empower the federal government with everything we think it does just because it comes in an amendment... I am just saying - wow, I can see myself about to jump into a steaming pile of crap here — I am just saying that what O'Donnell said was

@Cheney Guevara: Of substance? Oh, nothing. Mainly, I was just being cheeky.

@Dickdogfood: I don't know if I am saying this to be a dick or just cause I am sick of political news today...but

@RandomThought: As far as comic books are a consumable product - I completely agree with your assessment as for why the status quo must always remain the same. Right now - for example - Superman is walking across America to reconnect with the average American in the wake the New Krypton storyline. Even after there

@WookieLifeDay: I thought they actually did that recently? That all of the "Feral" mutants in Marvel were actually hyper-advanced animal mutants — animals mutated to be more human rather than humans mutated to be more animal...

@Seeräuberjenny: JLA had a story about the Hyperclan in the mid-90s I think (I seem to remember Superman with long hair). The Hyperclan did everything you mentioned - "fixed" the Sahara, healed people, ended war... all that jazz. But once they left - everything fell apart again.

I know it's fantasy - but does Mr. Gilbert Norrell qualify? Or is he more of a curator of magical texts?

@GirlLibrarian: Rocklimber and I both believe you should have been on this list!

@Roklimber: I am with Rocklimber! GirlLibrarian is just as heroic as any of these other protectors of the written word!

Who the hell is doing the new voice over's for SyFy?

@Smeagol92055: first thing I thought when I saw that... man, I got a kick out of Spiderman 2099.

@b33g33: Westerfield is pretty good. I was introduced to him via his Succession books (The Risen Empire and the Killing of Worlds) and I was very impressed. One of the best space opera books I have seen in recent memory.

@ACTLuke: Black Glove and Batman RIP are both fairly good TPBs. I haven't been able to figure out how to read any of the final crisis TPBs so that the story makes sense. But there are really only (in my mind) two points of importance for Batman during Final Crisis... and I won't tell you them here so I don't risk

@Shiryu: I can see House putting on one of his stupid, mocking-child faces and saying something awesomely meta like "What kind of horrible accent are you feigning? Australian?"

@Shiryu: I have decided that there must be a Lie to Me / House crossover event.

@Derek Pegritz: did you buy em all? or are they streamed on Hulu or some such?

anyone know the name of the song playing in the long preview?
