@Shai: Hearted for the reference to Roark.

You want to dig a big hole? Check this out!

@tetracycloide: Just curious - How do you feel about buying Grant Morrison (Chaos Magician) books? Alan Moore (Glycon the Serpent God)? Neil Gaiman (Scientologist (although might not be any more))? L. Ron Hubbard?

One of the things I love about good Sci-Fi - not only is there the great "What if?..." moments, but there is follow up. "What if X? How would it change us/How would we deal with it" and, best of all "Do we want that?"

@corpore-metal: I have enjoyed crossing swords with you sir.

@corpore-metal: Ok, I am out of my depth in any conversation meant to derive the CAUSES of free will.

The only question that bounces back and forth in my empty skull these days is:

@corpore-metal: Shocker! Physics doesn't allow for free will? It postulates a deterministic universe? Inanimate objects have no ability to choose for themselves?

@PatS: In my life... most days are odd...

I would have loved to know how fast they were propelling the bead.

@bakana: Evidently, you have never been married.

@FrankN.Stein: And people wonder/complain at how Jar Jar Binks could have been a senator in the second one...

It has been nearly 10 years since I read it, but I have very fond, laughing memories of "The Road to Mars" by Eric Idle (yes, THAT Eric Idle).

@Chimaera: That's how I think Bane could work in the Nolan-verse. Venom, originally, were just pills that were introduced to Batman, he got addicted to, had to live in the Cave until they were out of his system.

Wait... Didn't all the heroes DIE at the end of 300?!?

@Wakko: Yay fellow Bar Exam taker. Oakland Marriott here I come!

@lightninglouie: I was just thinking about the strength of the needle needed to do the inking... Maybe with an adamantium needle...
