I certainly think this entire issue is overblown. However, I LOATHE this argument that since they won by 'x' amount or did just fine with the other balls, that that makes it not a big deal. Cheating is cheating and it's a legitimate issue. I don't see anyone saying the Colts would've won the game had the Patriots not

So we should reward them because they're bad at cheating?

cheat on a test first 5 mins: Fail

1st half, cheated

Only 20?

As a Kentucky resident, I'll have you know that Hardin County borders Bullit County, home of the most racist fire chief in the Bluegrass State.

When a football player beats someone up, that's for the criminal justice system to handle. You know, police, DA's, etc.. The NFL needs no policy about it. It has nothing to do with the person's job of being a football player.

If an accountant were accused of domestic violence, why would his employer know about it? And what investigative authority would they have? And what disciplinary authority would they have if the accountant were not found guilty of anything in the legal justice system? I don't know where you've worked, but I've never

Imagine how offended you'd be if your employer took the position that you require their disciplinary authority in personal matters unrelated to your job performance.

It sounds more like a negative comment on white southerners than on black people. In general he stereotyped both black people and white people in the letter, in ways that aren't completely accurate.

I think it depends.

I mean if you just read that sentence by itself yeah it sounds bad but in the context of his email its not as bad. I dont know.. it is bad.. but I just feel like he didnt mean it like that..just my opinion.

I'm Black and a business school graduate. This is exactly how I read it. In fact he pretty much smears the local white population as bigots. The fact is that he needs their money to stay a float because the local black population alone cannot support a NBA franchise. So he has to find a way to appeal to them even

As a black person, I dont speak for all black people, we are not monolithic, But reading this email, I dont think its racist, its just a business man trying to figure out why his shit is fucked up. Hes speaking frankly, and probably factually on alot of his points, Hes basically saying mix this shit up, black and

Because he has 13 minutes worth of things to say

Perhaps this is not the show for you and you should just move on, and let the rest of us enjoy a show that spends more then 29 seconds on any given topic.

It's not uncommon for the Daily Show to pick a single topic and cover it for an extended segment. Since HBO doesn't have ad breaks, and also doesn't have an interview segment, it gives them more time to play around with in terms of what they discuss.

This. Our only hope is Sony, Adidas and Visa. What a depressing world we live in.

Because it's an important topic? The Brazilian people are getting fucked.

The why is simple: because you can and because you can have a stronger segment with more points.
