I couldn’t imagine having to lead a very literal double life like that, I feel like coming out to one’s parents can be the hardest and (unfortunately) worst experience for some folks. Things were not good with my folks for a while, but they realized they’d lose me if they didn’t start accepting who I was. Now even my

Many may not understand the minds of car enthusiasts, but behind so many cars are stories of the people who drive and love them. :)

Back in 2009 had the front bumper off my G8. Unfortunately it had already been removed when I took the photo, but a 10mm deep socket was discovered wedged inside the car leftover from the factory!

For a while I was codriving my Miata at autocrosses with a friend of mine, who was an ex mechanic, had a lift and garage on his property, so I’d wrench on my car at his place with his tools and we’d both race my car. One day after doing some work, I went over some railroad tracks, and heard some metallic clanking and

That’s why eBay listing like this would exist - 100 pack of 10mm socket:

I don’t really understand this. The Frontier is 3 inches taller and two feet longer (in similar four dour configuration. It’s 10 inches longer otherwise). That’s not a bit here and there, in height and length that’s roughly the same difference as between an Frontier and and F150 Super Crew with the 6.5ft bed (though

Maverick Plug-In w/ AWD

I’ll take it one step further. Its already going to be expensive to make a Mav ST. Why not go all the way and do a Mav RS. Plop the Focus RS drivetrain in there and call it a day. Bonus points if they can keep a modest tow rating.

I’d love this situation to be the straw, that breaks this particular camels back.

Just venting to my fellow Jalops, who I’d assume feel my pain

Why replace it? If it’s good, keep building the damned thing forever until gas cars are outlawed, just nipped and tucked here and there. How long did they make the original Ranger all but unchanged?

Though I was going to see a little hidden line at the end of the article saying is was originally posted in 2018, since they’re padding things out lately with that shit. And don’t get me started on the click though shit.

I think the only people that buy a Carolla are thise that don’t cross shop and just do as their father/grandfather have done since the brand built itself in the 80's.

The price is the real killer for the Ridgeline. It’s a great truck for weekend warrior types that need ‘trucky’ things enough to get a truck, but don’t want too much of a truck-like truck..... until you see the bill then it’s like, “For that money, I could get a more capable truck”.  I think if the Ridgeline competed

The Ridgeline has always been relatively expensive and niche. It starts over $37k. Beating it should be pretty easy.

I don’t know this, but am guessing that the pier he is tied up to is a business that charges fees for using the dock, the water, the sewer, garbage collection, etc. The owner of that dock must pay business taxes, property taxes, and utility taxes and fees, which would be built into whatever they charge for using the

That’s not what property tax is. Whether he should be paying a greater share or not because he lives there is irrelevant to the fact that this specific tax is a function of real estate property and his boat is likely in fact, not that. They could easily create an excise or residence tax that applies to

Property for tax purposes is basically never just an object regardless of how you use it. Residency has dick to do with it. If I build a building, a structure, on a plot of land, I pay property tax on it whether I live there, put a store in it, or leave it empty. Property in this case generally refers to real estate.

Are you me? Same age, same worked at a Ford Dealer, same crohns, same driving fusion energi.....

The gates shouldn’t be automatic with the bridge.
