They could spread the amortization across more models if they DID bring it to the 3 (and mx5, too)

I wonder how much of that take rate is caused by either being tied to a bunch of other options, or a lack of actual cars to be found lightly options but with the “hot” engine. How many people are willing to order a car and start making payments before the car even shows up?
Seconding this. Had a ‘16 as a loaner while doing the airbag recall. Was quite impressed, other than the lack of power. However, the dealer experience here would negate any possibility of buying one (or an mx5)
I’m thinking goimg with having my ashes mixed into some tannerite targets (assuming theyre still legal when i go). Another way to go out with a bang.
oh, and electronic nannies accord either...truck is abs only.
like Raph and Torch, i own a Beetle. it’s older than i am. we also have the Accord, that’s older than the kiddo who has her license...it was new the same year i graduated high school. currently, i have more confidence in it than i do my pickup (7 years newer), which suddenly developed an intake leak, just a couple…
personally, i love how understated it is, though i agree with (as i saw noted either here or in the linked article) the wheels are a little too throwback. i think it’s the departure from the high beltlines of almost everything nowadays that really makes it.
Jucy might work for that, if they had more locations. they do offer one way rentals, but it looks like just SF, LA, and Vegas at the moment.
happened to my dad once...ended up talking to the manager, who claimed NO idea what happened to the license plate frames...except they were laying right on top in the open trash barrel.
in this vein (and i’ve stated it previously elsewhere), i will NOT buy another mazda as long as i live in the area i do. not because of issues with the cars, but issues with service (especially related to recalls, since you’re stuck with the dealers.
kind of like the wrong way driver i intercepted once...”but i didn’t know” as she attempts to CONTINUE the wrong way...i back up and intercept her again...again her response is “i didn’t know”...um, but now you know, so stop it!
not uncommon for sandrail use, too.
The part that stuck out to me was the peoplewho already arent able to afford the car paymemts.... forced to pay a fee to be able to respond to being sued, or face a default judgement against them....talk about set up to fail.
as long as it doesn’t fall into the “Premature Detonation” population...
Theyre JK welds....as in Just Kidding!
Except for that extra fee hike for the "special event zone".
We arent even talking straight piped ....completely bone stock stuff (i hear r6, especially) will trip the sound meter at seca.
i honestly wonder, if (aside from most people’s general apathy about cars and driving skills in general) big parts of the problem are due insurance driving up operating costs and ridiculous restrictions on operating times/days. the latter ties with the general public’s lack of care, and i bring that up with laguna…
as an aside to this, if Erik has a Les Schwab in the area, they will do alignment checks for free; i think their quote if it needed aligning (on the accord) was around $100 (it didn’t). that one is kind of beater status now though...minor parts here and there (plugs and o2 sensors to keep passing smog/kill a CEL), and…
