some form of weight sensing? can’t speak too much to the programming (other than experiencing its failings), but there’s no mechanical connections under there like i’ve seen in similar vintage tacomas (axle connected to frame, inline with the rear brake lines), and in can attest for my truck’s willingness to swap ends…
have had a similar experience...not fun. we get cold enough for light ice (high 20's to low 30's), which means...the reservoir doesn’t freeze, but first time you spray....ice.
probably similar (if not same) programming/system as my 04 mazda pickup, which..isn’t a very smart system. between the weight bias and a little stupidity i ended up going through a stop sign (thankfully, no traffic) due to the ABS.
That second truck...yes please. It's even a manual.
perhaps they forgot that “different” isn’t always synonymous with “better”
the whole color fade (and colors in general) seems to be Micron’s thing. have heard of the brand; this one probably doesn’t sound too different from most others of the same type. volume would be dependent on baffle in or not.
her deposit check for a tesla was set to go out at the same time as the check for her tags
some ikea stuff is reasonably solid. couple nightstands and dressers have held up nicely.
lexan covers and some kind of projectors from the junkyard behind the lexan...sort of ford gt40 style?
Versa is a possibility too, no?
the dad must’ve taught them well or something, because unlike mom, the kids heard a car coming, and had the sense to stay out of the street.
Not sure about uk, but they have those in the states. Some see them as a wakeup call, others (as discussed elsewhere in the comments)...see them as a challenge.
i’m fine with them chopping up some of the basket cases that are out there....better to see them modified like crazy that left to rot or crushed, IMO.
sounds like the one i almost hit some years ago. similar busybody screaming from her garage at me to slow down (i was doing 25 on the dot). come back past later going 20, but in 1st gear with it wound up to 4000rpm or so.
on the flip side, if they have an actual speed gun in front of them, maybe they’ll actually learn to judge speed better, instead of “it sounds like you’re going too fast!” and calm the hell down.
i’ve done it a couple times with rental cars, when there was no other option. have legit changed hotels when i discovered one was valet only.
agreed; in conditions much milder than advertised, they’re having problems. i also have no doubt the algorithm to determine possible rollover is immensely complicated, though i can’t imagine it’d be a huge undertaking to update the programming to just bypass that when in off-road mode and/or 4LO, and offer it as a…
yes, i was beat to the punch by another poster...didn’t expand ALL the replies all the way down =|
thank you, Volvo, for including in the owner’s manual that i shouldn’t try to jump start the car by connecting jumper cables to MOVING PARTS.
