there’s a fair list of things stupid about CARB...high on the list is the fact that i could put parts on the car that result in it running CLEANER than stock....but regardless of what comes out of the pipe, still fail smog check because the manufacturer of said parts didn’t pay the fees for CARB to approve them.

minor disagree, here. did a 10 day road trip loop to yellowstone and back, by way of most of the way around oregon, with most days 8+ hours of driving. good scenery took a LOT of the suck out of all that driving, the only one that sucked was day 9, through a whole lot of NOTHING in the middle of nevada.

at least in CA, part of a real estate transaction includes acknowledging the proximity of rail lines and airports, and where the normal and alternate flight paths go in relation to the house....so they can’t even argue ignorance....

an alternative if you want to sort of test T-mo on the cheap is to do a Mint Mobile trial instead. Something like $5 for the sim, and 7 days to try, and they run on T-mo’s network.
