not anymore, no. i want to say 2002 is the last year it had to test.

there’s a fair list of things stupid about CARB...high on the list is the fact that i could put parts on the car that result in it running CLEANER than stock....but regardless of what comes out of the pipe, still fail smog check because the manufacturer of said parts didn’t pay the fees for CARB to approve them.

it must vary by area then. my truck (2004) gets tested on the dyno (with the sniffer) every other year; i’ve been left in a bind one year, partly due to my procrastination on handling the smog, and partly because 3 of the shops near me didn’t want to bother crawling under the truck to put the sniffer in (since the

perhaps one day i will. some cross country wandering is on my bucket list.

sorry for the false hope...what i appear to have found is an importer that some PR dealerships are affiliated with; none of the jimnys listed are actually in PR, apparently.

poking at that site some more, it’s apparently an importer with which some of the PR dealerships are affiliated; none of the stock listed is actually in PR, so it doesn’t seem like they’re federalizing it.  false hope.

minor disagree, here. did a 10 day road trip loop to yellowstone and back, by way of most of the way around oregon, with most days 8+ hours of driving. good scenery took a LOT of the suck out of all that driving, the only one that sucked was day 9, through a whole lot of NOTHING in the middle of nevada.

puerto rico, apparently. remembered a semi recent article regarding the mazda 2

the key bit is before that... “and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.”

unfortunately, depending where you’re renting from, there’s little to no other options BESIDES beigemobiles.

Another good place to look is actually Airbnb. It launched its Experiences feature last year and offers some similar excursions and experiences around the world that are operated by Airbnb hosts.

stayed with a well-known, mid-tier (not motel6/super8/hojo/etc) hotel chain in vegas, but off the strip. room shared a wall with the laundry room; found three pinholes in the sheetrock right next to the tile edge leading into the shower, and one decent sized hole in the wall facing the bed (with no apparent reason for

sounds like one of those was Select, or whatever they’ve changed their name to since i dealt with them?

at least in CA, part of a real estate transaction includes acknowledging the proximity of rail lines and airports, and where the normal and alternate flight paths go in relation to the house....so they can’t even argue ignorance....

here it’s the railroad tracks (that were there 50+ years before the houses) or the airport.

an alternative if you want to sort of test T-mo on the cheap is to do a Mint Mobile trial instead. Something like $5 for the sim, and 7 days to try, and they run on T-mo’s network.

COTD, right there.

looks american, actually, though i get the reference.
