Not at you personally, but ain’t it weird were some political positions are no longer distinguishable from the Onion rants?

The statement from CNE about engagement metrics being more focused around the content itself, rather than the personalities flies in the face of their digital strategy around promoting the individuals that make up their test kitchen. It’s 100% a CYA statement to buy them time to figure out how to generate some good

My one experience with Condé Nast was a weird one. I was brought in to interview for some entry level position and met with an editor (I don’t remember what division). After our meeting was done, I was told the publisher wanted to meet with me. I was sent into a big, fancy office where I was promptly told “Forget

The BA videos have been one of the bright spots in these last few months, and anyone who’s watched more than a handful of episodes knows that Sohla and Gabby are goddamn treasures. That they weren’t getting compensated for their NUMEROUS appearances was ridiculous; that someone of Sohla’s background was making 50k in

I don’t know! There is absolutely no plus side to that method. Hard to mix, hard to get internal temp, submerging chocolate in water (!?)...

That time he got Priya and Sohla mixed on a live interview was... very bad.

It took me quite a while to work up the courage to ask one of my co-workers at a local restaurant what she made. It’s silly, but...

What the fuck Priya is adorable!

Companies like Conde Nast spend their money on front and glitz, not paying the people who are the backbone and face of the brand living wages.

I cannot stand when ‘ethnic’ food is just dismissed because it’s ‘too complicated’. Have these people ever seen half the recipes in a standard french cookbook? Shit is fiddly and complicated as fuck.

I watched Sohla’s videos on Serious Eats (look up her spicy chili crisp recipe and her toum recipe, absolute gold! I’ve made both, more than once) I was sad when she left the site. I was so happy when I saw her in the BA test kitchen. She does seem very warm and easy to work with. I think she’s been vocal in the past

He’s always sucked and tried to get camera time because he thinks he’s as charming as the TK staff. He’s a cringy try-hard. But the pay scale for different chefs is truly unacceptable. Some of the BA staff have said they will not film another video until it’s corrected. But how did they not know? That tells me they

Hi don’t make me defend a clearly discriminatory company by making incredibly dumb comments about how food has a racial or cultural limitation.

Lol! I see what you did there BarefootCuntessa! I watch Ina too.

This is the low key and common face of discrimination often overlooked.

Yup.  Sohla comes across as pretty damned decent (plus she’s beloved on the Bon Appetit Youtube channel).  If she says he’s a fucktard, then I’m going to point at him and say “Fucktard”.

He seemed to be insulting when he appeared on shows like Claire’s, but with commentators repeatedly pointing it out, his tone changed with his Molly vids.  The gut instinct is always right. Bye bye, Rapapotato.

If Sohla says he’s bad he’s dead to me. Never liked him in the first place.

Thusly, this episode of “One of Everything” was almost painful to watch because I was hungry and I haven’t had a proper deli sandwich in far, far too long.

I loved the 3 Chefs/3 Ways challenge and hope there are more in store! I liked Carla/Chris/Sohla but wouldn’t be mad if they rotated it around to different chefs.
