I agree, I’ve never thrown out shop mayo and eaten it out of date multiple times. It’s packed with so much preservative crap that it always looks/smells exactly the same as fresh. Homemade is a different story obv, but I play pretty fast and loose with expiry dates - if it smells fine, its fine!
