Yeah, there are more than enough reasons to hate on Elon these days, but I really do find this lawsuit puzzling. ITAR is really stringent on its requirements and the idea that non-permanent citizens are actually allowed comes as a surprise to most in the space community.

Does it make anything in your life better to talk to strangers like that?

10 Reasons You Should Be Watching Foundation

Please don’t call this Foundation. It is so far from Asimov’s version.

Germaine Lussier seems like a nice man.

So because some shitty people don’t do their jobs, that’s the justification for adopting control collars?

Except the 5th amendment protects you from being forced to say who is driving the car or whether you were driving the car yourself.

A little less than a year ago I got my most recent speeding ticket, the first one I’ve had in several years, on a Friday evening while driving down to Coney Island for an Anthrax concert. Turns out that whatever county covers New York City decided to turn on the school zone cameras 24/7/365, and my accelerating from a

To me, there are three steps that really need to be done to fix this, and none of them are governors.

This interview seems like it has more red flags than the first season. Back to back cliffhanger finales? original plan for 8 seasons? 2 years between 1 and 2? Sounds like a zero percent chance of this series ending with dignity and closure. The show definitely has some excellent elements, but I’m very glad I hadn’t

The big question is whether it is worth it to give this show another try.

I can’t see “car-brained” being any different than “Plane-brained” “Boat-brained” “Phone-brained” “Internet-brained.

If those two example questions are indicative of the entire set, that seems like a no-brainer that the responses wouldn’t line up and artificially show a bias toward cars.

And that’s ok! I know people who liked the show, even when they are fans of the books. Technically it is good, the sets, effects, and so on. I also love Jared Harris, was one of my big expectations for the show...
