The other day on The Root a writer claimed Lincoln owned slaves, this whole network is full of idiots

Same author, same day:

The writing on this site has been on a steady decline for years.  For some reason, they think snark is a replacement for good writing.

So just to be clear: we're supposed to hate Jason Sudeikis because of a report from a former nanny that both he and Olivia Wilde denied was true, and also because a process server did their job? Even for present-day AV Club, this is a shockingly bad take.

I had the pleasure of borrowing a vehicle capable of handling 350kW of charging for a week or so last year. On the flip side of this, I pulled up to a charging station with different chargers (EVGo), and even I, a person who knew about charging speeds and the vehicle I was is, found it impossible to identify the

Odd stance to take, but I would expect nothing less of BuzzFeed 2.0 attempt.

I’ll take “things rich people say, that are out of touch from the rest of the world” for 500 Alex. Iphones are so crazy expensive nowadays. though I bought my Iphone 11 SE for like under 400$ and it’s great, so to be fair people really be stretching themselves for no reason.

What does he think those monthly payments are for?

“You don’t take out a loan for an iPhone,”

I’d give the Spicy Sweet Chili a slight edge over the Tapatio, but it’s by a crumb.

Weird - I don’t see a Sponsored Ad alert in front of this “article” or the other three articles this week about “Disney Springs, the shopping and dining district that’s part of Walt Disney World but not inside the parks.”  Shameless

She doesn’t know what Woke means but has her descriptors online for the restaurant flagged as “Latina owned” and LQBTQ+ Friendly. I Live in CT and could care less that the restaurant is called Woke, but this woman is straight up lying about it being an honest mistake/coincidence.

If you do a lot of BBQ/Smoking and handle a lot of meats I would recommend a slicing knife.

Repeatedly spelling Tom Clancy’s name incorrectly is pretty amusing as well.

Once again we have the AVClub claiming to be baffled that a film franchise whose first installment made vast quantities of money with millions going to see it the first time round, and whose second sequel installment appears to be doing the same, is actually popular with people, apparently on the bases that nobody in

I know that AVClub didn’t have an editor, but two Rainbox instead of Rainbow. Not only those two letter far away in any keyboard setting, every autocorrect in your phone will automatically type Rainbow.

The entire first paragraph could be easily replaced with the author just writing, “I think I’m a clever and snarky bitch” over and over again and it would serve the same purpose as the first paragraph as written.

Just keep in mind that if you’re coming from a gas stove an electric stove will be a huge step down in performance. (I’m not including induction - those are technically electric, but a very different thing.) They’re much slower to heat up and much slower to cool down. Your control is crap.

I’m imagining what goes on at the typical search party:
“Well Cap, we looked everywhere we typically look. We found nothing.”
“Well, did you look here?” *points on map*
“No.”
“Why not?”
“We don’t typically look there.”
Well maybe somebody should go look there!
And they’d find like dozens of plane and boat wrecks and all
