This. So much this.
This. So much this.
“You buy a Lexus GS because you want to eventually have a 911 GT3, too”
Haha... I know. It boggles the mind, but it beats the hell out of the Midwest.
I live in SW, so we’re a little further from their natural habitat, but yeah... they occasionally like to make their way to the big scary city to “own some libs” or whatever. People who don’t live here really underestimate how “red” the state is once you get outside the population centers.
That’s some inside baseball right there. Also, pretty accurate. I think I've met this guy in Estacada.
I’m having a hard time believing that this is true, but I want to believe. I want to believe so hard.
Find a used Lexus GS-F. They’re too damned expensive new, but I’ve seen 3-4 year old examples out there for 45-50K. Big V8, rear wheel drive, Toyota reliability, and super stealthy because nobody knows what the hell a GS is, never mind the GS-F.
That’s literally the first thing I noticed when I saw those interior pics. I absolutely love little details like this.
It would be even better if instead of miles per hour, it measured speed in stadia per hour.. or furlongs per fortnight.
The last time I bought a car, the process took almost 4 hours, 3.5 of which were literally spent just sitting around. I had already sorted the pricing and financing two days prior, all I had to do was sign the papers and pick up the keys. Granted, it was a Saturday and the dealership was crazy busy, but still, there’s…
I guess I should have clarified - mine was an 8th gen, so it had the K20. I’d imagine that the later ones with the K24 or the 1.5l turbo are a lot less exciting. The K20 was a sweet engine and contributed a lot to the character of the car. I suppose the newer ones are probably a lot more sterile.
Good question. I assume they’re still on the list, but not sure about Colorado. Where I live, it seems like the most commonly stolen car is a Subaru Outback/Legacy, specifically from the mid-90's through the mid 00's.
Used Civic Si sedan is the correct answer. I can’t think of a car that I’ve owned that was so much fun for the price - granted, mine was a coupe, but still. Dead reliable, cheap to maintain, and still a lot of fun to toss around. Mine had a crunchy second gear on occasion (synchro issue I think?), but changing the oil…
The one on that Yamaha is similar to others that I’ve seen. At least it’s somewhat integrated into the design of the bike. The one on the Harley just looks like complete shit, like it was tacked on at the last minute.
I’m not a motorcycle guy, so this might be a dumb question, but why in the hell would they hang the tail lights and license plate from that weird-ass bracket? Is this a regulation-driven thing? It looks like shit, and I can’t imagine that any of those things will still be installed within 24 hours of the owner…
Just don’t flush them.
This kind of thing is totally my jam.
Well, for starters, the Bronco Sport is being built to a lower price point, and is more constrained by its transverse FWD architecture. I don’t love it, but I think it’s better looking than the Escape upon which it’s based.
I’m not an expert on the subject of the pixels and such, but I’m going out on a limb here and saying that this is not a render. It looks legit to me, especially considering (as a couple others have said) that we’re seeing it under shitty warehouse/distribution center type lighting. The headlights match up to the other…
