They could just bring in Dermot Mulroney and no one would notice the difference.
Loved both the book and video game of Red Storm Rising. The latter was more of a submarine simulation, but managed to make you feel that your performance was affecting the the full-scale war the game was set in.
In Klingon culture, higher status is congruent with slower speech. The High Klingon takes three weeks to order breakfast.
TUSK CLONES!
I mourn for both Jon Hamm and Elizabeth Moss. Both are masters of non-verbal acting. They can say so much with just a wrinkled look.
I wonder why Payne hasn't written lately with writing partner Jim Taylor. They had a great run of movies together.
Sounds like an episode of Entourage.
"Hello, Walter."
Thanks Marah. I'm a near-daily reader of this site, yet Random Roles articles seem to fly by me all the time. I'll get to the end of one, and notice in the "More Random Roles" section that I haven't read the prior article. Then I might visit the Random Roles page and notice that there may be a few that I missed.…
Going to high school in Pasadena in the late '80s, we were lucky to have a 70mm theater near us. Even a movie that was a disappointment (for me, like "Scrooged") just looked and sounded spectacular. I remember being especially impressed by "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade".

I remember his hosting / narration to be super passionate too, which was in stark contrast to the usual talking heads.
Man, you aren't kidding. From the moment those cuffs went on Walt, I was clutching a pillow to my chest and chanting "Don't kill Hank! Don't kill Hank!" I kept expecting a bullet to drop him and/or Gomie.
Except Beneke ain't dead.
I've only listened to songs from "Middle Cyclone". She's coming to my local House of Blues, and I'm debating whether or not to pick up tickets. Would her concert be worth seeing if I don't know most of the songs?
Everytime I hear the opening to "Say Goodbye to Hollywood", I think I'm about to hear "Don't Answer Me" by Alan Parsons Project. http://youtu.be/Dkn5wqU5fow
TUSK! (Redux)
Puente Hills Mall was a regional mall for me growing up, and became my local mall when my parents moved to nearby Rowland Heights my senior year of high school. It went through some hard times in the mid-'90s and early-2000s when it had a lot of gang activity, and a fancier mall went up about 20 minutes away. It's…
