Man, I hope this latest movie for Eva Green is a good movie. She’s been the best part of so many mediocre films. Dark Shadows, the 300 sequel, the Sin City sequel all come to mind.

I like how Vegas has been incorporated into California (Lexifornia?).

Is Michael Che sticking around? I thought there were indications that he might leave, especially since he has his own show.
Stupid Spectrum cable in my area has been mislabeling movies lately, giving the description of the original movie when the channel is showing the remake. Conan was one of them recently on HBO, with the description being the 1982 Arnold movie, but when you flip over it’s Jason Mamoa.
I understand the love for Peacemaker and Doom Patrol around here. But I’m most concerned about Warrior and Hacks. Can those two shows exist in a $35 million max situation? There’s no way Michael Mann can do Tokyo Vice for that little. How about Our Flag Means Death?
For a second I thought Luck might be a continuation of the David Milch / Michael Mann horse racing show. Come to think of it, if it returned as an animated series, there would be a lot less horse death.
I’m sure Weird Al will be contacting him shortly to re-pitch “Schmoozer”.
My favorite is Lil’ Baby Aidy and the Twin Bed sketch, where the women in the cast bring their boyfriends back to their childhood bedroom.
You’re right, that article about Will Arnett and Bradley Cooper is from the same podcast episode that this article is about.
But we need a Season 4 where they play in Champions League! And then Season 5 when Ted goes to the MLS!
Will, if this ends up being your last Random Roles on this site, I just wanted to thank you for all the interviews you’ve done. There’s nothing I looked forward to more on this website than a Random Roles with your byline.
He’s getting his version of the Last Dance with the 4-part Apple TV “They Call Me Magic” documentary.
It kind of freaked me out that she glided down those stairs without holding the hand rail. That dress with the long train can’t be easy to walk in, and I was praying she wouldn’t stumble.
I believe the HBO extras mention that Carrie Coon was very very pregnant by the filming of the last few episodes. Thus the cut of her dresses to hide her bump.
I’m such a sports nerd that I got thrown off by the diagramming of the play, since offensive players are always the “O”s and the defenses are the “X”s.
Ahhh...a Noel Murray review. So good to see that byline back here at the AV Club.
Damnit. I loved Party Down. But I have heard nightmare stories of people trying to unsubscribe to the Starz streaming service and just being charged endlessly month after month.

Rebecca Ferguson is good in so much stuff (I especially liked her as Rose the Hat in Doctor Sleep). Glad to hear that she shines in this as well.
