I think you'll love Terriers.
I think you'll love Terriers.
Man, I love Aztec Camera's "Oblivious". I made my sister an '80s CD a while back as a birthday gift, and that song had to be the opening cut.
@avclub-a171d9b078d8fd668b699188db001042:disqus Yeah, I did read a few of those Robotech books. I thought they were decent. Robotech was such a visual ballet though, that I really preferred watching the animated version.
I think Ultima III was one of those games that were released like a year later for PC. I don't think I played it until 1986.
My parents would never let me have a gaming console, so I had to go to friends houses to check out the Atari 2600 / 5200s, or their Intellivisions and Colecovisions. I was stuck with a PC, which at the time got games a good year after they were released for the Apple and Commodore systems. I think 1983 for me would…
I really loved the Spellsinger series at the time. His otter sidekick was a lot of fun, and it made me love the Beach Boys song "Sloop John B".
Man, you aren't kidding about Bio of Space Tyrant. As a fan of the light-hearted Xanth novels, those first 50 pages or so were fucking grim for a kid. I'm not sure why I finished that entire series. I think the solar system-level sci-fi kind of mirrored my love of Robotech, so I stuck with it.

Peter O'Toole was in his hippy phase when he named her.
It still skeeves me out that the little girl in The Piano gets all naked in True Blood.
If I remember correctly, this was one of those paperbacks that had a hole in the center of the cover where you could see a picture of a character. Flipping the cover open would reveal that character in another creepy locale.
The strike killed off Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
In the Fresh Air interview with Dean Norris, he said he had trouble with his audition because he thought that the show was a comedy. He said he's still not convinced that it isn't.
I would watch a show that followed the various hot demon women around. And/Or an alternate universe with Bobby, Ellen and Jo. The way I see it, some out-of-towners would come in every week and commit a crime, and the incompetent police and mayor would pin it on the Singers. They would have to clear their name and…
Since John Schneider was on Smallville, the smart money is for Tom Wopat to get his turn on Flash. But I bet the CW goes the budget route and hire Coy and Vance Duke.
I wouldn't mind if it's helmed by Ryan Murphy of Nip/Tuck. Were you hoping for someone in the vein of Zalman King?
Don't you guys get at least partial credit for The Bee Gees?

I KNOW! This article just one month after the Stevie Nicks one:
