I loved that Ms. Brennan joined the TV show after appearing in the movie.  The TV show didn't have the range of emotion of the movie, and was played for more Lucy-style wacky comedy.  But the continuity in her casting still gave it an authenticity I loved.

Oh man, you should have your own little Random Roles segment here and tell us a behind-the-scenes story about that episode.

Thanks for that.  I usually have a lack of patience with video clips; if I see they are over five minutes, I don't watch.  But that story was worth it all the way through.

Oh my goodness.  I think I'm spoiled by the three-pager Random Rules, but I absolutely wanted more of that Michael Dorn interview. That was fantastic.  Hopefully you can get some more time with him in the future and do a proper RR with him.

I'd ask for Norma Rae and The Fifth Musketeer (working with Sylvia Kristel AND Ursula Andress?!?).

I believe I enjoyed her role as a realtor dealing with Klepto Marie in Breaking Bad.

I'd buy that ordering, although personally I would nudge Heat Wave to the top.

I can't hear this song without thinking of a tight shot on Mick Jagger and David Bowie's shaking asses.

WIGS!

I have to give love to "Good Fortune" and "This Mess We're In".  I was so hoping this article would be about either of those songs.

Someone from the Game of Thrones newbie thread is going to come punch you.

Don't sleep on The Thorn Birds, which was a huge hit for ABC.

Don't forget waking up to Laura from General Hospital in your bed every morning.

I think you nailed it here.  I was a fan of TOS, so I was excited when TNG premiered.  I gave up about three-quarters of the way into the first season.  It just seemed unbelievable that you had all these talented crewmen, but only the teenage kid (Wesley Crusher) seemed to have the key answer in seemingly every

The opening scene of Season 2 will be Elizabeth getting into a car with Claudia, and Claudia cutting a gigantic fart.

I loved when she put on that black wig and got all naughty as Serena.  I think Jeannie gets the edge because she would call me "Master".

I just get the feeling that many of his interviewees are having a great time and can't wait to field his next question.  There's such a healthy enthusiasm about it all.

Completely agree with "best people", but I'd argue the "quietly".  As soon as he joined this site, Random Roles has gone from Good-To-Great Feature to Essential Reading.  He's always swinging for the fences, and his home run rate is better than Barry Bonds on gamma ray radiation PEDs.  And some of them are monster

Of the "yelling sports journalists" shows, "Pardon The Interruption" is still the gold standard.  Wilbon and Kornheiser give an amazing amount of well thought-out takes in half an hour. And the guest hosts, especially Bob Ryan, have gotten better.  Around the Horn has gone from absolutely unwatchable to "I might not

This is the thread where we fawn at Will Harris' ability to get his Random Roles subjects to open up.  It is a required thread in every Will Harris Random Roles, because he for damn sure deserves it.  My favorite feature on this website, and I know I'm in for extra goodness when I see that Will Harris byline.
