I was watching this happen live last night, and for the life of me could not figure out what sparked this until they booth crew said it. It was just such a nothing-burger.

Yikes. I recently dropped Sling and picked up DirecTV NOW and it has Paramount in it’s base package. They advertise the living hell out of this show, on what seems like every channel. I was almost to the point of giving in and watching the first few episodes.

The Nationals are going to have to really bring it to one-up this for their Championship parade in November.
Holy shit, if the Nats manage to win this year...I don’t know that fans could handle that much good fortune. It completely goes against what’s been ingrained in us as DC sports fans. Our brains would short circuit, and we’d all collapse simultaneously.
I sure as hell thought that was going to be the case.
