I mean, the benefit of mocap is having less to hand animate, and having actors record separately would then require those animations to be matched up, and likely changed significantly to avoid clipping etc. Could it be done separately? Sure, but it would defeat the purpose of mocapping it at all, I imagine.

or you play the seasonal content without paying, unlocking a handful of cheap cosmetics as well as the new aspects and powers while still getting to experience the new, free content that comes with seasons? The paid track of the battle pass is not mandatory for playing seasons.

It’s usually a pretty basic mechanic to get you to buy more platinum, if you’re going to be short that $5 pack looks appealing.

It’s just not a big deal? Who expected people wouldn’t want to use it on season one. I’d the fancy edition came with “free season one premium battle pass” no one would have batted an eye.

I think it needs to be explicitly over emphasized here in the comments that this is not charging people money who have not already paid for a season battle pass in the deluxe edition. On Xbox for me (standard edition owner), there is a very clear confirmation pop-up.

I’ve spent 0 extra dollars and loved every minute of my 60+ hours. None of this stuff is required or even necessary to enjoy the game;
