I exclusively play melee-sorcerer in Diablo games, as well as many other non-meta builds on the other classes. Equating a comparatively minor amount of loud voices with the majority of people that plays these types of games is dumb.

Yep, this is a pretty horrible and indefensible write-up. Especially that headline too, making it sound like “It is what it is” is some sort of statement from the wife when its nothing more than an offhand comment from a third party describing the wifes experience of learning about everything.

Everyone complaining obviously have meta builds ...good for you. Stop complaining and build another one. People who aren't yet meta(almost everyone else) have seen IMPROVEMENT in damage and performance not a decline. It's not a big one but my ice sorc went up very slightly in damage. With my hands-on experience last night, the primary things I noticed was they attacked the “meta” builds with these nerfs.
