Big Movies aren’t for “the fans”, they’re for a mass audience. The people who have no idea wtf “Critical Role” is. Same with any other licensed film. They’re not trying to bring “the hobby” on to the screen, just tell a fantasy story & sell tickets.

Depends on if it’s just another version of the age-old-system of people unlocking avatars/desktops/etc (everyone can unlock it), or if each one is “unique” in some way. And tradable/sellable.
