Me too. I freely admit that I have no idea what just went down on that Klingon ship.

If a ton of country music stars got together and supported gun control, I think they’d have a lot of power with that message. It’s the right time, it hits close to home this time, they could do something.

I just got home and found that I saved the link in a separate tab on my laptop! Here you go :)

I was waiting for the call for story submissions this year, and I totally missed it! By the time I posted my story, it was way waaaay in the grays after about 2000 other posts. Anyway, here it is again - creepy camping story! Loved the one from this year that got picked with the footprints in the snow. Eek!!:

Imagine you are driving down a mountain and there is another car a little bit ahead of you and realize its gotten dark so you turn on your headlights. Then the car ahead of you starts frantically looking back at you and speeding and then they pull over like they are waiting for you. They probably just hid until the

I don’t know, ask the Greeks, buddy.

Possibly the most punchable-faced Vulcan of the entire franchise.

Also, Vulcan extremists made perfect sense to me. Virtually every Vulcan we’ve ever seen has had at least a mild superiority complex. I’m not remotely surprised that there are some out there who have decided that it’s only logical to purge their society of emotional alien influence.

Man...I thought this was the best one yet.

What I would love would be a movie about Elizabeth Smart’s work as an advocate for sexual assault victims. That would make a great film-like a Mormon Erin Brockovich.

Passing along this story about my buddy, I’ll call him Jim, who served in the Army and was in the middle east in early 2000s. He came back with some pretty fierce PTSD, used to think he was hearing calls for help over the car radio and such. Eventually he got some professional help and it seemed like it was all sorted.

It’s the second episode of a 22/23 episode season. How high stakes can it be at this point? I’ve never understood how people don’t get this about network TV - it’s not actually possible for every episode to be fleshed out with the highest of stakes. Honestly, for the second episode of a long TV season I’m not sure

I kind of got the feeling that Sara was taking it easy so as to prolong the flirt-fight session. She looked like she was having fun. Maybe it’s her version of letting your date win at bowling.

It’s one of those things I’d need to have clarified. Because if Beth wasn’t there.... then who was gnawing on poor Marie? 🤤🤤🤤

the backlash I saw was from people with eating disorders like anorexia, who were seroiusly triggered by the presence of calorie counting in their face, and a couple relapsed. And it’s upsetting (but not surprising) that health-judgey folks aren’t realizing this.

it can be bad news for people with eating disorders, especially those who were obsessed with measuring their calories. And it was, in facr, for several people I know.

Honestly, please buzz off with this tired idea that people who lack healthy habits would be better off if they received constant little nudges from the outside world reminding them how much they ought to consider changing their ways.

I would like it to tell me where I could stop for mini cupcakes on the way, maybe.
