I didn’t notice it at all. Weirdly, I saw the I09 headline about it before watching the season, then forgot, and still didn’t notice until you just pointed it out. Very cool.

Yes! She was wonderful.

I love cheesy musical episodes and that is one of the most dreadful things I’ve ever seen. But yet I too am still watching.

Ahh I’d deleted that episode from my brain, so horrifying.

Some coworkers enjoy rubbing it in — an email signature that counts down “5 weeks 2 days 7 hours until Hawaii!!” or constant mentions of “Can you believe we’re only paying $3,000 for our week in Hawaii??” It gets tiring.

That’s terrifying! I love freaking myself out while solo camping so these stories are always my favourites. I’m going to assume it was something evil trying to trick your dad into straying from the campsite and getting lost.

Oh wow, thanks for linking this one, I’d missed it too and it is terrifying/fascinating.

Yes! I want to know who it was but also don’t want to know at all

I’m so glad you mentioned this because discussions I’ve seen about the ST: Discovery episode (io9, avclub) didn’t bring up the sexual violence, and I wondered if I’d misinterpreted the episode somehow. It really hit me while watching.

Aw thanks. I still think about calling up their parents all “So hey just a small question from 23 years ago...”

I think for me it was that the actor playing Edmund Kemper in episode 2 was so good, he gave me faith to stick with the series past the weird dialogue. And Jonathan Groff settles into his character a bit more and isn’t as wooden. I was interested in the interviews with serial killers rather than his Sexy Banter with

The pilot was absolutely dreadful, I’m glad I read your post because I kept watching (loved the concept so much) and episodes 2 & 3 are like a completely different show.

I started babysitting at age 13 in the early 1990s. I freaked myself out so many times, just being young and into reading horror fiction, and staying at houses on the outskirts of the small town where there were fewer streetlights. So I have many overactive imagination stories, but this is one I still wonder about

Hah, yes, those are both solid reasons to dislike him.

I was about to reply “I was never a fan but he surprised me in Daredevil” except apparently, I still can’t tell Vince Vaughn and Vincent D’Onofrio apart. So then which one do I dislike? Both? Neither? So confused.

Bone Tomahawk is one of the few films I wish I’d never seen. It was fantastic, but that one scene just got under my skin in a way few horror movies do. I think I mean that as a compliment to the film, but I’m not sure.

This article is both beautiful and important. Thank you.

I don’t even understand this article. Is it a joke? Trolling? Kid A and Sgt Pepper are wonderful, and for me what personally stung was The Nationals’ Boxer, which is gorgeous.

Wow. she’s gorgeous. This terrible movie did not do her justice. (She can’t dance, but she was adorable and mesmerizing whenever she wasn’t dancing).

I enjoy the show quite a bit. It’s not perfect (it can get pretty melodramatic at times), but the characters are interesting and the acting is great. I don’t think it’s ever devastated me or made me cry, though.
