This might only apply to the fellow Canadians on the site, but I need some advice on how to proceed with a situation regarding PST charges that were never initially charged.
In 2016 I purchased my camera body from a website based in Ontario (I live in British Columbia). Ontario doesn’t not charge the 7%…
Hey everyone! After battling with Lightroom for the past 2 nights (and losing most of those battles) I finally have some photos to share. To the uninitiated, I rented a big lens for this, which I shared earlier. The planes in this set is a RC AF CF-18 and then the USAF Thunderbirds, followed by the RCAF Snowbirds.…
I got home and fired off a couple quick photos to get my bearings with the lens, and make sure all was working. Please note this isn’t my best work, and they were wirelessly transferred to my phone for a quick edit. These are at a reduced resolution and quality versus a straight out of camera file.
I rented a Nikon 300mm F2.8G VR lens today for an airshow this weekend. Unfortunately I don’t have any cars lined up to photograph so it’ll be mostly airshow shots with this guy. Unless of course you guys really want a Prius shot.
Car is only 3 weeks old so not in terrible condition, but it was black which means a polish is always in order. Went around the car with a combination of Meguiars M205 mixed with Meguiars Ultimate Polish, then waxed it with Bilt Hamber Finnis Wax.
Finally got to drive one on the street. AMA?
Edit: Here is some of the photos I took today of the car.
2020 Acura TLX A-Spec. It Doesn’t have any other packages like tech or elite though. Overall much nicer to drive than the last gen TLX. Suspension feels actually firm and the new transmission mapping is MUCH better.
I hope you day goes from zero to plus!
So I like cleaning cars, a lot. I do it as a pot-lining, side-cash gathering, scab of a business. When I bought my townhouse I told my wife our garage wasn’t going to be normal, there would be lights in spots where walls normally are, and that the shelves at the end for storage would be at least 25% detailing products.
I wouldn’t normally make a rumour post, but this is from Forbes.com, so I feel like it has a bit more weight behind it. People have been speculating that the NSX GT3 and GT3 Evo were racing for more than just trophies (well it was pretty well known it was for developent), and it appears a lot of what was learned on…
Both my cars saw some love this weekend, RDX getting an engine bay detail (and regular wash), while Megatron (Prius Prime) has it’s paint coated. It’s stuck in the garage over night so the coating can cure, but it should help with the regular cleaning as it sees lots of commuting mileage.
