If Porsche had done an RS version at the time it would have got 20 more hp, some slight suspension and aero tweaks, maybe a few other little bits removed to add lightness, and that’s it. This is a pretty good job and addresses the main issues with GT4.

The IS-F (or heck, even a regular IS350, hell even an IS300 if you’re coming from a 4 cyl Camry) is BY FAR the best option.

+1 to this!

Within a week or two of driving it, you’d not be bothered by the turbo lag...you learn to anticipate it, keep the revs in the right range and roll into the throttle a bit earlier.

Honestly, it looked rather suspicious in the original article the way the receipt has some photoshop work done (highlighting) and the disclaimer. The full unedited version is a better representation and wouldn’t be questioned.

This needs to get more stars...dude put diesel in and photoshopped the receipt to make it look like he didn’t screw up.

Seems like some plexi cut outs on the hood are in order.

That’s what Mazda says about all of it’s cars, it’s part of the brand.
Is the drive more engaging than a Camry (NOT A MIATA)? If so, they’ve met their mark.

You don’t say, a Mazda 6...a mid-size sedan competing with the Camry doesn’t feel like a Miata? Why would the Miata be at all a comparison point for you against the 6? Talk about dumb.

Depending on the hardware, sure...do these cars have dynamic dampers? The brake systems, at least ABS and probably brake assist systems can be adjusted, let alone brake boost and other attributes depending on the mechanical system.

Lexus RC or LC

It looks much better in person and owning an NX F-Sport I’ve never had one person say my vehicle looked bad, most love it.
Lexus needed to be less bland to attract a wider demographic. Their previous styling only brought in people 50+ years old who just wanted a car with a badge. The new styling, although polarizing,

Except the Porsche is a league above Merc AMG from a quality, prestige, engineering standpoint. It’s like comparing a Hellcat to a Ferrari...sure the Hellcat is faster, but it’s no Ferrari.

Am I the only one annoyed with Jaguar for calling this the I-Pace and their smaller SUV the E-Pace...damn it, flip the names!

Tesla started with an 100k+ vehicle and are only now slowly rolling out to an affordable market. Porsche on the other hand will never sell an affordable vehicle for the masses, that’s what VW will do. So all Porsche needs to do is produce high quality performance electrical vehicles and people will buy them the same

Very common, not just Audi problem.

Agreed. I have 5 of them in various ranges and sizes.

Have healthy respect...I’ve done a dozen with the usual threaded set without problems anytime.

Wow, you like wasting your time eh? A lot of those tools are cheap to just buy and have around when you need them. Also the stores aren’t always open when you run into problems and need these tools.

I have a compression tester, axle sockets, spring compressors, thread chaser set, bolt puller set, slide hammer set out

I got chills when the 962 came out...that was just awesome. Overall I’d rate this episode pretty damn high, it wasn’t one bit of boring.

You’re supposed to ratchet strap through the wheels to the t-bar so it can’t come off.
