In terms of plot logic you might be right. Of course Jessica did not decide to kill Kilgrave because Simpsom *literally* told her to. But in terms of feminist critique you have to dig a bit deeper.

ROFL. Though straight female or not, admittedly I personally never needed priming for appreciating Caty Lotz in black Latex, and on occasion I did find myself admiring Nyssa (though in her case more in the way I'd admire a beautiful painting).

Sorry, I guess I unjustly projected *my own* personal and pathetic reasons unto others. ;-)

The way it was set up it seemed to imply that Jessica was indeed stalking Luke, but did not intent to actually meet him. He caught her, and as far as I recall he befriended her. Maybe its a detail, but still there might be a difference between being too weak to refuse somebody who is so obviously what she needs at the

Steve Stronghold/The Commander running SHIELD? There's a whole parody universe waiting to happen based on that one idea….

don't forget the spell John Constantine gave Olli. I'm still hoping that will play a role in defeating him, plus Thea's 'immunity'.

As long as Patty is around but kept in the dark for no reason anyone on the show could possibly verbalize without poking a stick in their eye, nothing on the human interactions front is 'righted' on Flash. Just my humble opinion.

True, obvious homage. Upvoted for making me flash back to one of the best cut sequences in movie history.

Ray can make her an exo-sceleton. Which she takes off to put on insane high-heels once she is ON the platform. (For real, I like my stilettos, but Felicities footwear on this show is beyond anything reasonable. I assume the actress is so tiny that they need 3-4 inches to make the frames with her co-stars work?)

That one bugs me every time Damian puts his death touch on Oli. There must be a point when that protection spell kicks in, right?

Sure, we're all commenting like this for the money. Did you miss the party and your piece of the pie?

Yeah, but
a) she was 12 when Robert vanished, so the memories might be a bit patchy
b) she build a pretty close relationship with Malcolm in the 6 months they traveled together (remember, he lured her by telling her that nobody else really cared for her, which she believed at the time because Oli never came looking for

According to Ben Brouwder, Barrowman occasionally dances buck naked with his female co-stars in hotel rooms. Who knows what he would or wouldn't do? But seriously speaking, it wouldn't surprise me. The guy is so committed to his husband, he is the perfect flirt for a girl - totally outrageous but totally safe.

Though even alive, Felicity seems to have lost a lot of fans already….

Actually, for once, I agree. That jump-kick was spot on and totally convincing. Personally not so moved by the midriff, but I guess that's a guy-thing.

Maybe RIp Hunter can help him get some of those 51st century pheromones?

My thought exactly. Real media would have crucified him for that. (Made me think of that The Good Wife episode where she was berated for real volunteering because she came from the office and wore an expensive suit, but celebrated after a totally fake pseudo-volunteering arranged and posed for the perfect photo…)

And what a decline since season 1. Makes me think - when did Arrow stop its equal-opportunity-objectification policy? After all, in these terms it may have been the most feminist show on TV for a short while…

Dunno. With most of the support characters female, Arrow would have a hard time killing anyone without inviting that accusation - which to a large degree negates it? Besides, the show hardly needs the death of a character to drive an otherwise passive protagonist to action.

13 years on, every time I hear 'Hallelujah' I still see Mark Harmon dead in a sea of red and white roses, and Allison Janney breaking down crying on a random bench wearing 'the' black Vera Wang….
