I didn’t doubt the 1.9 figure for 1.9 seconds. What I question is the 10000Nm figure. That’s over 7000 ft lb of torque.

If they’re using 18650 cells without some battery enhancing tech, that battery pack would be north of 2500 lbs.

We can thank the “feminist” defense of Bill Clinton’s disgusting behavior for sending the message to all so-called progressives...“If you publicly support liberal causes, you can rape and abuse women in private with impunity”.

I have been trying to coin a word for this kind of feminist (fauxmenist?) and thanks to this article I think I got it. (Forgive the plagiarism)

I think it might be a Camry, circa 2007, although we didn’t get those over here so i can’t be certain.
If it is that sucks, i was hoping for something a little less common.

Looks like a 2007-2011 Camry to me. The rear lights match up, and you can see the chrome Toyota logo above the rear license plate. They are also available with the chrome strip along the bottom of the side windows.

it’s cool you like tesla and musk and all, but maybe the government should take that F35 budget and not hand it out to private, for-profit enterprises

If you just made up that word you own the inter web,

This level of salesmanship will be studied for years to come. People were willing to suspend decades of conventional manufacturing wisdom. Just me bringing this up will get me flamed, but oh well.

It’s even harder when your company has developed a grand total of 3 cars and has essentially 5 years of experience in mass production.

And the hatred to the “conventional” auto manufacturers. EVs will probably find their place, but I doubt at the speed or vision Tesla keeps promoting.

Making cars in large numbers is really really hard?! Color me surprised.

Well he set himself up for failure by over promising huge production numbers.

As long as we also end corn subsidies, funding to the Middle East to stabilize oil production, and tax breaks for oil companies I’m ok with this too.

Honestly good. I’m all for making EVs but why would I as a taxpayer be supplementing $8000 off Johnnys new tesla model 3? If Johnny wants a Model 3 he can full price for it!

“To what extent” is a quantitative question. Scientists don’t even agree on what percentage of climate change is caused by humans. That is to say, is it 100%? 90%? 50? There isn’t agreement on it. Even with the 90+% consensus on humans impacting climate change, there is substantial disagreement between level of impact

Time for extensive background checks before being allowed to rent anything bigger than a bicycle.

Hellcat Magnum anyone?

Shitty workers didnt do that, thats neocon propaganda talking. Cost cutting and coasting on a good reputation (much like honda did in the mid 00s) caused it.
