Yeah employment typically lags, but I would have expected a strong bump from seasonal employment + the effects of tax cuts.   The fact that hasn’t happened means that uncertainty may have already started to feed into hiring decisions.   We shall see, but I expect a recession next year.

Given seasonal employment trends, I’d have expected to see very strong numbers in June, as you have the corporate tax cuts pre-tariffs. I think it’s a bad omen, and input tariffs on steel and aluminum are starting to affect manufacturers and reduce export markets for US goods. It’s going to take a few months to see a

These “easy to win” trade wars are probably why today’s employment stats have the largest increase in the unemployment rate since November 2010.

Yeah, but a couple of "treasure hunt" 737's with the new design but old colors would be some cheap PR and fun for us spotters.

DESERT GOLD 4 LIFE!!!

Lowest cost of ownership for a Jag is a pretty low bar. Unless you're the second or subsequent owner.

Aaargh! I hate you Kinja.

Hey SWA, I like you guys, so I'm going to fix this for you.

This - a thousand times this.

I don't like how Boeing is run right now, but you cannot begin to question the company's support of the Museum of Flight (an independent organization). The company provides tons of in kind donations, cash and expertise, and its past and present employees are wildly supportive of the museum's efforts with their time
