He’s referring most likely to a legal interpretation of the meaning of “solid” within the context of the rule. In other words, “that drink didn’t start as a solid, is not intended to be enjoyed as a solid, and won’t remain solid without intervention, therefore the government does not classify that as a solid.”

I’m pretty sure by a solid or a liquid the laws mean the state of it when it’s at room temperature.

edit: obligatory “room temperature can’t melt steel beams”

We used to call people that did that kind of stuff barracks lawyers. Pushing the exact wording of a rule to get around the intent of that rule. They usually got slammed for it. What he was doing was causing the TSA a problem. Their job is to deal with a problem in the most expeditious way. Not play silly word games

“MS’s Failed “Tablet PC” Product Line” hate to break it to you but Microsoft Directly did not offer its own Tablet PC Product Line until the Surface Pro came out post I-pad. But for long before that Microsoft certainly accomidated Tablet PC users with built in Tablet PC settings for its Vista and Windows 7 Operating

Let’s all rewrite history so that Steve can finally say a smart thing about stylii, rather than what he did say.

Wacoms own Companion tablet aside, for going on 10+ years now Wacoms offered EMR digitizers for plenty of windows tablets. For example you can snag the Surface Pro 2....which has a core i5, 4-8GB of Ram, and 128-256 SSD....running full Windows 8.1 or 10....which runs full adobe photoshop CC, Manga Studio, Corel

Mind you, Steve Jobs thought he knew better than his doctors when it came to dealing with his cancer, and that decision eventually killed him. So, you know, grain of salt when it comes to how smart the guy actually was.

Wow. Have we gone beyond arguing this point? Are we simply grasping for vocabulary points? Shall I drop a six-syllable bombshell? How about this? This building is a fuckfest of Starbucks architecture in a country that scratches its head at it. I realize the hipsters in Ljubljana would roll over for these triangles of

I don’t think you know how climbing works. That is a shitbox.

A totally fair point. Personally (and that’s all this is about, right?), a country’s wilderness architecture, be it in the distant reaches (which don’t exist in tiny Slovenia), or the more-trodden paths should, arguably, reflect that geographic area’s culture, or at least not look as if someone imported it from I-70

That “Mountain Hut” looks like something Steve Jobs shit out of his dick. Can we please stop importing yuppie, contemporary snooze-cubes to every conceivable corner of what used to be unreachable wilderness? Please?

Yes, this is an entirely new and troubling phenomenon:

I was expecting an article not an instagram post. This is why gawker media gets such a bad rap.

Thank you, I came in here to complain about the same thing.

I also posted about previous versions using real Wacom pens that don’t need battery or charging and you could even use a full size wacom pen for serious drawing/painting but I guess my comment got lost in the shitty grey of kinja.

AFAIK that’s not a Wacom stylus then. Wacom is battery-free because it uses induction between the stylus and the touch panel.

Arguing the SJW Cabal denied them with no award doesn’t make sense. The puppies were a clear minority who managed to make it in because the first round votes were so scattered. If there was an SJW Cabal in place, the slates never would have made it onto the board!

No, I’m of the generation where fast sports cars are yellow, not red.

I probably phrased it confusingly. My point was more that, while motorcycles as they currently exist don’t run afoul of any public endangerment standards in my mind, the argument that “I want to have cool things” isn’t really an argument at all. It should be more like “I want to have cool things AND these cool things

Maybe it would have made more sense if I reversed the order of statements?
