The more Grabber Blue-esque paintjobs out there, the better!

Pretty sure Ford was waaaaaay earlier with their “Grabber Blue”

Hmm.. At least they’re copying a gorgeous color.

Well the last dogfight gun kill by us was in Vietnam (from what I could find, I could be wrong)... IMHO If the F-35 does well at range I think that its inability to dogfight is not that big of a deal. It was designed to reach out and kill stealth like. That is not to say I approve of the F-35 but it makes a

You plebes can go and buy a Taurus or whatever that will go 200,000 miles without a major repair. We rich people with a family income of $100,000 (US) will go and buy a car that costs $10,000 to repair before it reaches 100,000 miles. Then we will sell it at a loss and buy a Taurus.

That’s the right attitude, but I think the problem many readers have is that Tavarish is trying to compare buying a used car as the same economic decision as buying a new car with warranty for the same price.

Yeah?

The 7 cameras form one cohesive image with the truck icon in the center. There are many system on the market like this. It’s not new.

My parents have an Infiniti JX. It has surround view - very convenient

Halo Warthog

Fender is known for making some really great amplifiers. Doesn’t really translate to car audio, but still.

It’s not education, it’s culture. Germans have a very regimented, disciplined culture. They follow the rules and are generally responsible; it’s been bred into them for generations... Americans are basically the opposite.

Well he’s white, so he can’t be a terrorist. Everyone knows that.

I think you are missing point about the user experience i.e. the cyclist themselves as part of the argument. Sure you can do something well today with the solar panels over the cyclists, but this new approach has a number of advantages that also create value (just in a different way).

Again, your assumption is purely based on what you know about the prototype (which is based on the snippets of public information, not the internal data).

so you’re saying take something that clearly needs improvement and forget about it and move on? genius. Why didnt i think of that? Seriously dude. They’re testing it out and trying to improve on it because it is a smart idea........covering our roadways with something that’s actually USEFUL instead of oh idk,

Love the attitude (not really). Let’s go ahead and kill off all research and innovation, because sometimes stuff doesn’t work. Some of the biggest inventions of our time have come about after we tried things that seemed like they would be failures. Just because these solar roadways seem like bad ideas right now,

Yep - It’s also a car you buy to drive the wheels off over 15+ years/250,000 miles with minimal issues. No Audi product is going to ever have that reliability, and good luck wrenching out the inevitable electronic gremlins that arise in nearly every modern German luxury brand.

Your Audi also costs twice as much and is half as reliable, so there’s that.

But that’s the point, the Outback is what you want to buy if you want something that is kinda boring but is quiet about it. Like a middle child in a religious family, it just wants to do what it has to and not get too much attention.
