At least 5 of my friends are waiting in line at one of the Seattle-area stores right now and in one case that plan on ordering two! If I like it I might order online tonight but I refuse to take a day off of work for this (ok, my boss wouldn’t let me even if I wanted to).

So basically the Model 3 is going to look like this?

I agree with Buick, there is no way that the Adam would sell well in the US badged as a Buick. *However* the solution is obvious, sell the Adam in the US badged as an Opel! Whether it’s sold at Buick dealers or Chevy dealers or even your local GMC truck outlet doesn’t really matter. Heck take a page from Tesla and

I just stopped by to point out that the car pictured is a later Bertone X1/9, not a Fiat. That’s not bad, the Bertone-labeled cars had more features and were generally better built than the Fiat-labeled cars even though all of them were built by Bertone.

In fairness both markets sell the 1.0 liter Fiesta though, it's just optional.

They seem to sell very well in Seattle but perhaps our population is a bit younger on average?

It looks less like the Tesla of the 1950s and more like the Tatra of the 1960s to me.

Judging from the number of Focus STs I see on the streets it’s seems Americans do want hot hatches, at least ones made by Ford (disclaimer, I drive a Fiesta ST).

You're being far too kind, the new system was an absolute disaster both from a competitor perspective and from a fan perspective. They might as well have thumb-wrestled for their qualifying positions. It would have as accurately represented the performance of the cars and it would have been more entertaining to watch.

I think my car would do ok :-). Not as easy to get parts for as the T though. I’ve owned Ts as well, used to have a ‘14 but I decided to keep the Essex and sell the T because the Essex was more unique.

I don’t quite get the interest ‘70s cars get today. I was I high school in the 1970s and the cars we lusted after were mostly 1960s cars. I wanted a 1969 Mach 1, not a 1976 Mustang II. By 1979 when the fox-body came out I finally bought a new car but that (TRX turbo coupe) turned out to be a turkey and was quickly

Germany *was* partitioned and given away to France, Britain, America and the USSR. However the other three decided to reunite their parts, it was only the USSR that held on to their bit with East Prussia becoming part of the country proper and with East Germany serving as a vassal state. As far as the former East

Russia isn’t the USSR either. Why hang onto something that’s not a traditional part of Russia? You have a better argument for hanging onto eastern Ukriane which at least was historically part of Russia at times compared to Prussia which is just a spoil of war with no historical connection pre-WW II.

Given that the US version of the 124 makes 17 more hp than the standard one I’d expect more than 170 hp out of the US spec Abarth. Hopefully like the roof on the 500 the black hood paint will be optional because IMHO it detracts from the car. Lastly what’s up with the color? Fiat needs to go back to their mid-70s

If you’re going to put a three-cylinder engine in a car at least have the good sense to make it a two-stroke.

At least they owe it to you to treat you nicely, not like an annoyance. I usually fly Alaska and I can't imagine getting the same run-around from them.

I loved my Neon ACR sedan! It was a fun little car and seemingly well-built. Unfortunately I was rear-ended by a 12-passenger van and while it was repaired cosmetically it never seemed the same afterwards so I moved on. But it was great fun while it lasted and its fondly remembered. If Chrysler would make something

If only it was true that Southwest treated their customers better but IMHO they don’t. We had a connecting flight through Milwaukee to NYC and the NYC leg got cancelled because of weather-related delays. The Southwest FA directed us to the bag check only for is to discover that they don’t do ticketing. So it was back

I drive a Fiesta ST so I’m well aware of Ford’s performance cars but I’m assuming anyone shopping the Bolt probably cares about electrification a lot more than performance.

It’s interesting to me that no one’s mentioned how radical it us that the new Top Gear features a *German*. To me that more radical than Sabine’s sex. The old Top Gear was unabashedly British through and through while with presenters from Germany and America the new TG is going to be much more of an international
