Sounds like you have an exceptional wife. For the rest of us however our wives have totally bought in to the myth and trust me if you forget Valentines Day there won’t be any other days to celebrate for the whole year if you get my meaning. I’ve never liked made-up holidays (don’t get me started on how rediculous

I’d be much happier if they brought back the clean ‘60s look.

My suspicion is that they have collected a huge amount of data on each customer from various sources and are using this survey as a way of determining which of data sources contain correct data on Andrew. So each survey recipient receives a completely customized questionnaire. So somewhere out there there is an Andrew

I accidentally stumbled upon that one night while vacationing in The UK and trust me that sign was very helpful in figuring out what the heck was going on.

My theory is that rather than have three set hosts every week the show will be “Chris Harris and Friends” with two rotating guest hosts each week. But frankly at this point I’m not sure what to expect from the show as the only things that could be carried over from the old show are the name and the Stig. Heck for all

That’s true of the current 2015+ 4th generation model of the 2 but the version sold in the US was the Fiesta-based 3rd generation model and that is the one that didn’t sell well here. Rather than import the 4th generation to the USA Mazda discontinued the 2 completely.

The Mazda 2 has been discontinued here in the USA. Small cars unfortunately don’t sell all that well here so there wasn’t room in the market for both it and it’s fraternal twin the Ford Fiesta.

I can understand though IMHO a Morgan 3-wheeler would be my choice for therapist :-).

For most parts DMC has adiquate supply in their warehouse already because the original DMC had parts for several hundred vehicles when they shut down. There are some parts they are short if and those will need to be reproduced but u expect the majority of their vehicles will be built, at least initially, from NOS

IMHO I don’t think it’s true that folks today don’t want small cars, the real problem for FCA is that the Focus and Fiesta are much better small cars and they are sucking up the market.

In Paris, London, St Petersburg, Moscow and NYC just to name a few you can get along without a car just fine and if I lived in any of them if I did have a car I'd likely reserve it for weekend use and keep it parked somewhere on the outskirts, not in the city proper.

Reverse: My dad actually owned a 1912 Oakland back when I was a kid in the ‘60s. He ended up trading it even-over for a red 1955 Mercedes Gullwing which would have been the deal of the century if he hadn’t sold the Gullwing in the ‘70s right before prices went crazy. The Oakland was only one of our antique car fleet

The point is that electric car sales are still mostly a regional thing centered on certain parts of the country. Sales are much higher in places with high gas prices and lower generally in places with low prices. You can’t go anywhere in Seattle without seeing Teslas and Leafs (and even an occasional Focus Electric)

One thing you’re not factoring in is that places with low electricity costs like the Northwest also have high gas prices. We here in Seattle pay around 9.5 cents per kWh but $2.49 average for regular gasoline. Throw in the environmental factor and the fact that smart people know gas will be $4.00 a gallon sometime

The problem with the Bolt is its just a fancy Sonic styling-wise and the Sonic is no beauty. Also the Bolt is $38k while the Tesla is expected to come in at $35k. Throw in the Supercharger network and the cool factor and I think the 3 will sell just fine. The main car that will take a sales hit from the Bolt is the

For American and Japanese car parts yes you’ll see a 10-20% difference in price between retail and online and for those vehicles I agree with your argument. It’s with German cars that the argument starts to fall apart. I’ve seen parts for Audi and Mercedes where the exact same part (same manufacturer and everything)

Last time I checked Germany still existed. Claiming that Nazi Germany was somehow a different country would, if followed to a logical conclusion, imply that today’s Russia has no rights to the area either since it was the USSR that annexed it, not Russia.

Not at all, there are still substantial native populations in all of those countries. But the remaining German population of Kakiningrad is near zero. It would be like the US government had loaded every Indian on a boat and sent them back to Siberia which they clearly didn’t do. If you’re looking for a better

A little automotive trivia. Overland was a make of cars from 1903 though 1926. In 1908 it was purchased by John North Willys and renamed Willys-Overland. Walter P Chrysler had a big hand in saving Willys in the early 20’s before moving to Maxwell to start the Chrysler Corporation. Overland was replaced by Whippet from

Except that none of those were seized just 70 years ago and in none of those were the natives totally driven out en mass like the German population of Königsberg was after the end of the Second World War.
