Yeah but the doping ban is on Russian participants. I mean, up until yesterday, the Champion’s League final was in Russia and they had a little flag on the data on the UEFA calendar.  Maybe soccer doesn’t adhere to the other sporting sanctions.

They went to Saudi Arabia. They go to lots of places that have issues. These places may not be outright invading another country (or just bombing them constantly like Saudi Arabia) but there are quite a few places on the schedule that have quite a bit of moral baggage.

These things must be subject to wild swings in pricing. I want to say there was a nearly perfect one at Barret-Jackson a couple years ago. Went for $650k if I remember right.  Now one with issue is over $1M.

Courts have issued lifetime bans for aggressive driving.  Even if they suspend it for 10 years, he will have to figure out a way to function without being able to drive.  OR he can just continue driving, which is what most people with suspended or forfeit licenses do.
