Right.  but the specific concern here was the height of the retractable masts, not the draft or beam.  It would seem the yacht could simply move past the bridge to another shipyard to have the masts installed.

Not knowing how important the bridge is to the locals (though it sounds pretty important), I am sure there are a number of corollaries here in the US. For example, what if he wanted to dismantle and then reassemble the Edmund Pettus bridge to allow his boat to pass?

In AZ it is easier. I’ve seen firearms purchased at garage sales. I thought I was witnessing something illicit until I was informed that its perfectly legal here.

So his tag is clearly visible and there WASN’T a police tank ready to bust down his door?!  They actually waited for him to turn himself in?!  Huh...

They’ve got a couple Portillo’s in Phoenix as well. Pretty good.
