I know right? And they did it all for your take!
They only added the woke element after their story went viral. Initially they just talked about it as a funny thing to do, only later saying that there was political intent. Which, to me, makes any prank less fun, whatever your political background.
These are the kind of pranks I can get behind. Funny, no one got hurt or scared, no property damage...AND highlighted a real issue that the company is now addressing. Good job, guys.
Those are fetishes or disgusting kinks disguised as “youtube pranks”
This is great.
I buy good quality thick bacon and it STILL curls. Will try the cold pan technique next time.
This might be the single most helpful article I’ve ever read on Skillet. I make bacon weekly and have always hated how it curls.
So the new way to look at obesity is to tiptoe around them and accept that it is okay to be unhealthy? No one needs to be bullied but everyone should strive for a healthy lifestyle. I’m sick of this...”I give up” attitude and those that perpetuate and fortify and snowflake people into thinking this is your lot in life…
Exactly. Always cold pork/cold oven. Cold bacon/cold frying pan. Cold ham/cold water. If pork warms up slowly it shrinks much less. You can still render out the fat without destroying the meat. If you’re cooking bacon in a hurry, think about rearranging your life to allow more time for good food.
I just use my Sushi-bazooka. If you care anough about the uniformity of your Kofte to use half a day to make a bottle-extruder, surely it’d be better to I don’t know, go dog-walking, mow the neighbors lawn, or hell, spend that time picking up some recyclable cans, recycle them, and use the money to but one of these?…
I had been of the “cook the crap out of it” when it comes to making bacon. But after destroying my Teflon frying pan though over-heating, I started cooking on very low heat. Not only did this do just as good of a job as before, but it was actually better! The bacon was brown instead of black and more evenly cooked! I…
Hot take: that article is all sorts of bullshit. “Yes, nearly every population-level study finds that fat people have worse cardiovascular health than thin people. But individuals are not averages.”
Hey, there’s a blind taste test idea for you. Cola - but not mere samples, the whole can. Or at least half a can. I dunno, you might have to do it over a period of time, because your victims, I mean, blind-taste-testers might not want to drink 6 or more cans of soda in a day.
I received an award for cooking the best bacon of all time 16 years ago, but you don’t see me writing about it. /s
Love this. It will make a perfect addition to my food truck repertoire. As soon as I buy a food truck. Seriously, though, this might be a fun trick for the grill for my next football Americano view-in party.
Seems like a lot of work when you can just glop meat onto the stick by hand.
It did not smell like something you should put food through.
This is the most entertaining thing I’ve read all month.
Yes. Exactly.
Hrmmm. Roll it sushi style? Jab in a stick and be done.
